The way the bones were arranged in the Catacombs was incredible. The worker who died there built sculptures from sandstone on his lunch break amazing.
Our tour guide Amber, her knowledge about the history etc. blew us away. She was the best.
This was such a great tour! So worth the money! Our tour guide Amber was so amazing!! She told us great history about the catacombs and had wonderful stories that made the experience come to life! This was a 10/10 experience would absolutely recommend doing this to anyone!

Andre was both informative, providing stories and history behind have catacombs came to be, but also friendly to keep the mood light while respecting the sanctity of the catacombs.
He watched after all of us to make sure the group stayed together and did an excellent job on the tour.
Even afterwards, he provided directions to the Metro for our return trip home. Very accommodating.
A really insightful and fun experience. Andrei was an excellent guide! For those that tend to get cold easily, make sure to take a sweater and bring some water for all the walking we do.

Amber made this tour more than just an underground walk through old tunnels with some bones. It was a lesson in the history of the people and the construction of Paris. We were able to go to some areas not open to the public tour. I highly recommend this walk through the past!
Amazing experience. Going to areas the general public do not go was the highlight! Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and make the experience wonderful.
Definitely do this tour for a more enhanced tour of the Catacombs.
We took the Paris Catacomb tour in August 27 at 6 pm. Our guide was fantastic. He was so enthusiastic about the information and stories he was providing. He took great care of us and made it a wonderful experience. It was very clear how enthusiastic he was about what he was conveying.
The catacombs tour with Andrei was the highlight of our three days in Paris. Andrei was fun, friendly, and very knowledgeable! He took good care of us. The trip is fairly long with little opportunity to sit, so be prepared for that. Highly recommended!!
Amber was our guide.. she was great!! Funny and very informative about everything, not just the bones but the history of the stone inside the catacombs
I wasn’t sure what to expect on this tour - you need to be able to walk a lot of stairs down and back up - but I have to say this tour is fascinating and not macabre . 6 million odd skeletons neatly packed - it was hard to process the extent of the tunnels and bones. Well worth a visit . A guided small tour provides so much more information
This tour was not about death, but a problem solved by things that happened in the past. It was a very very interesting and informative activity that my wife and I thoroughly enjoyed. Our tour guide on the Amber was just the best on our exclusive access tour. Giving us insight and interesting facts that happened recently.

When booking other tours via Viator, i came across this one for the Catacombs. It's not something I'd heard of previously and it looked interesting.
Andrei, our guide, was fantastic. Extremely knowledgeable, kept us moving however with sufficient time to review what he spoken about.
We did the additional 'secret' areas which are only available with a 3rd party guide.
This tour was far more interesting than you might suspect. There is a lot of history about the city, the relationship with the church and the creation of the catacombs.
I’m claustrophobic in tight spaces but the wall distance was not that bad and with the lighting it felt very well lit and enjoyable! The tour guide was very knowledgeable. I think 2.5 hours was a little long for me but interesting nonetheless.

Angel was an exceptional tour guide. It was able to tie in the history of Paris to the history of the catacombs. worthwhile tour.
Leo was such a phenomenal tour guide. After a small snafu with the meeting point, she took us into the catacombs. She knows so much about the catacombs, describing herself as a cataphile. She knows so many little details about the place! It was very memorable. It was super cool to see parts of the catacombs that regular visitors can't see. I would love to explore the catacombs with Leo! She even gave us recs for a nice place to have a drink after the tour.
Our guide was amazing! Friendly, funny and so knowledgeable!! This was number one on my daughter’s wish list and it did not disappoint!!!
Paris was extremely hot when we were here and it felt great down there. All paved so any shoes you’re comfortable walking in are fine. We weren’t cold and despite the online warnings about dress code enforcement we didn’t have that experience; shorts and spaghetti strap tanks were worn. It was very interesting. Lots of stairs at the beginning and end

A human guide added so much to the experience and the interaction was fun for the whole group. Super cool but make sure good walking shoes and ok with 120 steps down and up.
Angel was amazing. His passion for history resonated in the way he talks about the history of the museum and the respect he has for the bones in the catacombs. We would take the tour again with him any time.
Our guide Andrei was a treat. He was happy to share all he knew, including tips for dinner after the tour. The wild history of the catacombs, the collapses, the bones, and how it’s all being maintained kept us entertained for the full two hours. Getting to go to areas not allowed to normal self-tour groups let us see chapels and wells and artwork that we would have otherwise missed. I’m glad we prioritized going on this trip.
The tour guide Amber was knowledgeable and shared great context and answered all the questions we had, however our booking was supposed to only include 6 people but ours was overbooked with 14 people which made it harder to get around the confined spaces with such a large group.
