To the right of this you will see new glass doors with signs for Catacombs Entrance. Your guide will be outside the glass doors entrance.

- There is approximately 1 mile of walking. Also, there are approximately 130 steps down and 85 steps back up to street level. This tour is not recommended for people who have mobility issues or anxiety in closed spaces. Please note that the temperatures in the Catacombs are 14 degrees centigrade.
- Add on a Seine river cruise. Your ticket is good for a one-hour cruise along the Seine anytime within one year of the date of your tour.
- This tour/activity will have a maximum of 19 travelers

Did a Paris Catacombs guided tour with Maria, it was incredible. We got to go to areas the general public were not able to go, Maria gave us great information and tales about the catacombs, cannot recommend it highly enough!

This was a very interesting and sobering experience. I would say it was less "fun" and more fascinating and sobering. If you are down for adventure, history, and some heaviness, this is a very unique and profound experience.

Double check the date you book! I had thought I was booking for June but the calendar had automatically set for August. I immediately reached out for a refund but was denied. I understand the no-refund policy but this felt a little egregious.

Lots of bones! Our human guide couldn’t make the tour and a replacement couldn’t be found, so the tour company promptly gave us a refund for the cost of the guide. Great work by them but not having the human guide was a bit of a letdown. We had to use the electronic audio guide and they were a little temperamental and not as informative. The catacombs themselves are really interesting. I’m glad we took this tour.

Maria was a great guide, very knowledgeable and humoured with lots of value-add pictures and details from her own experiences. The tour went into some ‘behind the scenes” sections which was great and the pace and information was great..

Maria was a great guide as she truly loves the catacombs. We learned so much history. Pictures don’t really do justice to the catacombs, just be prepared to walk down 130 stairs and back up again! However, it is worth it for the experience.

Not quite what I expected. The bones were stacked very neatly (as opposed to be scattered about as I had thought). Still an excellent tour with a first rate guide.

Normally, we only do street food tours and avoid the super touristy venues, but felt that we would benefit from a guide for the Catacombes. It was a little pricey, but our guide, Igor, did a great job of sharing interesting tidbits about the plaques and markings embedded in the walls that we would not have even noticed. We also were allowed access to private parts that are closed to the public, including a well where workers would clean up before coming above ground. So cool! Igor was a wonderful guide with great energy. All in all, what a crazy place! Very glad we engaged a tour.

We were in Paris for a short visit, a stopover on our honeymoon, and we knew the Catacombs were in order to see… With so many options to visit and tours available it was a bit difficult to choose from different companies etc… We made our choice with Viator and could not be happier with what we decided. That truly was due to our guide and how knowledgeable (and truly personable) she was. Her name was Paula, and if you was thinking of booking a tour there, go with her!! We were taken into areas that are off limits to the general public, and weren’t in the crowds through decent chunks of the tour as well. She was absolutely amazing, and when we return we will absolutely be looking forward to seeing her again! Thank you again Paula for the wonderful experience!

My husband and I took this tour in early December and it was one of the highlights of our trip to Paris. Igor was a fantastic guide. We had a large group, about 20 people from several different countries, and he took fantastic care of all of us, making sure everyone got to see and hear everything. The tour was about two hours long and was packed with interesting information and entertaining commentary. In addition, we got to skip the entrance line and visit two "VIP" places that are closed off to most visitors. Don't hesitate to book this tour!
One suggestion: be sure to bring some cash for a tip. We didn't have any on us and regretted that we couldn't show our appreciation in that way, as Igor definitely went above and beyond to be sure we all had a great time.

Excellent tour. Highly recommend it. The history of the Paris Catacombs is fascinating and seeing an ossuary of that scale is remarkable.

We had a blast on this tour. Amber, our tour guide, was incredibly knowledgeable and engaging, and spoke perfect English and French. She was friendly and did a great job of shepherding us through the space without feeling cramped or scared. I’m a little claustrophobic but I did just fine. On this tour, you get to go in some restricted areas that the other folks don’t get to do, which is really cool! I would recommend this tour 1000%, and make sure you get Amber - I can’t say enough good things about her!

This was one of my favorite things we did in Paris. We got to see tunnels that are not open to the public. Igor was great and super knowledgeable! Only con was I wish the group was smaller. Be prepared for the staircases the one going up was a dousy and makes you dizzy kind of. But I have had 2 knee surgeries in the last year and was able to do it just fine.
