- Note : Notre-Dame was closed to the public due to a fire in 2019, and reopened on December 8th 2024. That portion of the tour is done from outside. As specified, this is a walking tour and the ticket is included for Sainte-Chapelle. To visit Notre-dame for free, prebook on the official website of the Notre-Dame Cathedral.

The tour guide was nice but the overall outside tour of Notre Dame was mediocre at best. The Saint Chapelle tour would have been nice but the tour operator provided expired e-tickets and our guide has already left to start his next walking tour so we were denied entry.

Guide was knowledgeable and polite. Sugar was his nickname. It was very cold on the morning with snow still on the ground so Sugar kept the tour moving.

We booked tickets and had an excellent tour with Sagar. However once we got to St. Chapelle our entire group was informed that the tickets had all previously been used….every single ticket had been rescanned and sent to us by Viatour. Incredibly disappointing that this was something that could happen. It’s incomprehensible. I hope this isn’t a reflection of Sagar but it was shocking. I would absolutely avoid this booking at all costs.

Really enjoyed our guide Chinelo. Tour of Notre dame is outside only, though there is no charge to enter on your own before or after the tour (lines to get in can be long though). After a fascination architecture and history explanation, Chinelo took us around the area showing us a lot of interesting things that we’d never heard of. Shakespeare and Company rare books, Whitman vintage drinking water fountains around the area…. So many more details and lore…. Eventually we ended up at Sainte Chappel church and the Conciergie where, after some more history, she ended the tour by presenting us with skip the line tickets for entering sainte chappel and the concierge’s. Great tour, great guide (ask for Chinelo).

Nothing can compare to Notre Dame. The stain glass was awesome. The woodwork was amazing. The frescoes were beautiful. The rebuild from the fire was completed. What more can I say other than I loved it

Alot of history about the notradame building but we should be able to go in now.... please add that into the tour.
Also she needs a little more practice. The information j7st didn't flow she was kindof allover the place. Kept loosing track on what she wanted to talk about next. Kind of flip around needs to find her flow about the tour. Pluse not much info on st chapel. And we went in to this church. Kinda felt like she's still learning. Tour needs to be both balanced on info and ticket for inside for both churches. St. Chappel wea gorgeous but I had no really info on church except the 5 min. Shell she said out side. Pluse it doesn't help if her friend comes along on tour. She seemed unorganized, she needed to be getting prepared for the next place not talk8ng with her friend she brought along.

Tour guide Sandy from Paris fun tours did a good job, but would have liked more info on the history of the Notre Dame. Would have like to walked around the building. But overall it was a good way to get into the conciergerie and St Chapelle which is beautiful.

For the meeting place at Notre Dame, the information only listed the address of Notre Dame. However, there is a large, open area in front of Notre Dame. There was no noted “area” or corner at which to find our guide. We did not know what to look for either. We had to call the company and then learned that our guide was waiting by the seating area and she carried a pink flag. It would be good to have known that prior to the tour day.
Once we met her, she was very knowledgeable and pleasant to be with. The tour was also a bit expensive for what we got. It was about an hour and a half. Our guide did not accompany us into Notre Dame (which we understood when booking) nor Saint Capelle (which we did expect). The benefit was skipping the line at Saint Chapelle.

We were scheduled for a 2:00 pm tour. We were at Notre Dame at 1:45 but could not find the meeting place or our group. We asked several people for help but no one recognized the location. Therefore we missed the entire tour. We requested a refund but were denied.

Sagar was an amazing guide. Very informative, good stories and funny. He hit all topics with a good balance of history and entertainment. Saint Chappell was so beautiful and skip the line was worth it!

This was a pretty good experience. Our guide was kind and knowledgeable. We learned quite a bit. I don't want to complain, but it didn't get 5 stars from me for a couple of reasons and they all feel very knit-picky. It was great to cut the line and for that alone, it was worth it for me.

Hi Alicia Olivio. Upon reviewing our records, the tour on June 30 at 10 AM proceeded as scheduled, and unfortunately, your group did not arrive. We attempted to contact you multiple times but did not receive a response. Our guide waited 5 minutes past the start time before continuing with the rest of the group who arrived on time.
To avoid such situations, we always recommend arriving at the meeting point at least 10–15 minutes early to ensure a smooth check-in.

I have been in many Viator trips. Most were great!! Not this one. Our guide was good but we did not skip the line as promised. Seemed to be a ticketing problem when we got there. Tour company partner not good

Our guide was very knowledgeable, spoke clearly and not too fast. She answered questions and even had a sense of humor. The facts she gave were fascinating. She was considerate; we were the only ones without umbrellas and it started to rain a little. She suggested we all move over under a tree. She surprised us by buying each of us an Eiffel Tower key chain! I will always remember this wonderful tour.

We saw very little of Notre Dame. We were taken to other churches where there were services taking place. Did not find this particularly interesting. Have taken many Viator trips but this was not worth the money.
