Marouane was our tour guide! You'll be lucky to have him! It's obvious he loves his job and is incredibly knowledgeable about war history and Napoleon. My husband and I enjoyed this tour and we learned so much. Marouane is a gem!

Very good trip and guide. We visited all the parts of the site.
The part with the garaves is much better with explanations and context, even tho i am good with history personally.

Our guide Michael was extremely well versed in history. We focused on Napoleon and the battles he won leading to his coronation as Emperor. We then visited both the military church and the adjoining church with Napoleon's tomb. The churches were stunning, especially the dome, statuary and incredible marble edifices. Michael was quite charming and interesting.

Guide seemed a little tired. Overall, the museum was well done. The chapel where Napoleon is in turned, was phenomenal. It was very moving to see how respected and in mortal this little guy was treated, especially in view of the fact that so much French blood was spilled Under his guidance. The French are to be honored with this exhibit.

Napoleon's Tomb!!! A great tour. Worth the time and money. Tour Guide was very knowledgeable. My only suggestion: this was a small group only 4 people. We met at a stupid location. At a very busy sidewalk cafe: Finding 4 other people was very difficult - particularly since we could have met by the fence of the exhibit. A Much easier place to identify a tour group.

We decided to not put the meeting point at the museum as we found it was much more difficult to locate our guests there. The good thing with the café is that it has a street address, so is very easy to locate with google maps or to give to a taxi driver, and it's very close to the metro. If we choose meeting points that don't have a specific street address (such as by the fence) then the map pins, which we have to enter, go all over the place as they cannot locate the exact spot and they give out incorrect information and we have guests getting lost. A long explanation but just to assure you that we do think very carefully about our meeting points and try to find the best and easiest places so there are no issues for our guests.

Julienne was an excellent guide for our tour very knowledgeable, very professional. The pace of the tour was comfortable and considerate for all parties. Highlights of the tour were the history behind the King’s armor and the scale models of cannons, gun carriages, and caissons. Another highlight was the hidden symbolism of the paintings and various statuary. I’d do it again.

An in depth tour. We were the only ones on the tour so our guide adjusted the tour to our needs. A little bit too long in my opinion. If you are a huge history buff you will love the tour.

I toured with Thibauld. He was a wealth of information on the museum, and crafted the tour to meet our interests. He was hilarious, and with the sheer size of the museum, it was incredibly useful to have an expert know where to take us. I loved this museum.
