Our guide was very pleasant, knowledgeable and was able to give us lots of interesting background and facts about the cathedral not only the past history and construction but also filled us in on impacts of the fire and recent reconstruction. He answered all our questions. We enjoyed our time with him.

Finding the guide was crazy; they should have a sign or some identifying logo. This is not a”skip the line “ tour; you will wait outside with the crowd, winding to the entrance. The crowds make hearing the guide and taking pictures difficult. Our guide, Lise, was excellent and spent extra time helping me with some tourist questions. I enjoyed the tour but would suggest instead renting the audio recording and proceeding at your own pace. It definitely was not worth $150.

Great tour of Notre Dame. Like the same group so you could easily gather and hear well. Also easy to stay together. Like the details and stories our guide gave us! Easy entry at the earlier time!

A very small group of only 5 allowed for a unique personalized visit with our guide providing excellent facts and stories! We appreciated helpful interpretations of the interior, which most visitors miss. Our guide was professional, inspired and shared his love of the French history. Definitely recommend!!

Easter week is not the best time of the year to go. Notre Dame and the Louvre were very crowded as though it was summer.
This tour only talks about the history and the fire.
If it wasn’t for my slight disability, we would’ve been in line for an hour with him, but he was thoughtful enough to go see if we could get in ahead, and we were able to. That was great. Once we got in the tour, he talked to us until our time was up, still about the building itself. After that you can stay in on your own.There was no explanation of anything inside. That is a different tour.
In the beginning, when we were trying to find our guide, he didn’t have a flag, and we couldn’t find him. He relies on calling people, we thought we were not going to have a tour. We were very anxious about it. We went from tour guide to tour guide and of course, none of them were ours.

Booked a Notre Dame guided tour 7 months ago for 6 people for April 1st. One week before our trip, received a message that Notre Dame would be closed at the time of our tour. Immediately responded to change the tour to April 6th, the only other time we would be in Paris. Got confirmation, got tickets, got to the meeting place - no guide. Waited 10 min and called. Was told there was a “glitch” in the system that didn’t allow them to see and process the change in the booking. Result - no tour. Yes I will get a refund but we planned our last remaining day in Paris scheduling around and waiting for a tour that didn’t happen. Unacceptable!!

It was necessary for Viator to change the time of the tour the day before-not Viator's fault, the church changed their schedule suddenly. The guide was wonderful, even helped us find a cab after the tour Because of the time change and other tours we had scheduled, we had to cut the tour short and so did not get the full benefit of it.

Positively wonderful experience. Our guide, Elisa from Peru, was extraordinary! She knew so much about the history of Notre Dame Cathedral as well as about the fire and restoration, and she enthusiastically told us story after story. It was beautiful from beginning to end! Wow! What a wonderful way to experience this newly restored cathedral. Viator is lucky to have such a powerful presenter.

Great experience….Our guide Hafia gave us a brief overview outside the cathedral then brought us through a no-waiting entrance to begin our tour of the inside. Hafia was a true art and French historian…and very engaging yet discreet and respectful as we walked through with our group of four….we would have overlooked many important features had we gone on our own. Highly recommend…

The tour was canceled without any prior notice. The tour guide was very apologetic. The company should have a system in place to email or call people to notify them of any cancellation. Pretty unacceptable.
