Neil was a friendly and very knowledgeable guide. The vehicle was clean, comfortable and on time. The tour included the Notre Dame Cathedral in Reims, which is spectacularly beautiful with amazing stained glass and is a must see. The Champagne tastings were outstanding both in quality and quantity and included a memorable tour of a small family owned producer. We have been on many tours and this is as good as it gets.

Thank you for making this tour a great way to finish the season. Outside of tasting the rarest varietals of grapes (Petit Meslier and Pinot Blanc) non Malolactic conversion at Lanson both Black creation and Rosé) but also tasted some of the very grapes still on the vines that go into making champagne. Along the road we saw at least 50 dear 2 ducks, 1 goose, and 2 pheasants. To top it off checked in at Moët & Chandon to find Napolean's bi-corne beaver hat was still in the display window! Great memories with wonderful people. Neil for CTT.

Truly a pleasure to have you both out a second time, and with family. I was happy that we had customised the trip with the other group to have a special unplanned visit at Moët & Chandon in between. Young or a little older the vibe was making it a fun trip with a little on culture, past wars, current wine making business, and of course lots of fabulous wines tasted. Who knows maybe we could make a private tour with all the sites dedicated to WW1 where capitulation was signed, Monuments where the battle of the Marne etc. Champagne is so much more than just a great bubbly drink! I had an incredible experience on this champagne tasting tour! Our guide was thoughtful, engaging, and impressively knowledgeable, not just about champagne, but also the rich history of the region. We explored beautiful churches, enjoyed scenic photo stops, and traveled in a comfortable car with excellent driving throughout.
The highlight, of course, was visiting top-tier champagne producers and a smaller family owned producer. I learned so much about the intricate process of how champagne is made, from grape to glass, and got to taste some truly exceptional champagne’s. If you’re a champagne lover or simply curious about its production, I highly recommend this tour. It’s the perfect blend of culture, education, and indulgence!

Great day in Champagne region. The visit to the cathedral was nice. Veuve Clicquot was interesting and the smaller, family-run winery was a fun visit. Our guide Neil was knowledgeable and very personable. Overall, this was a fun day in Champagne.

A beautiful day touring the villages, churches, and tasting champagne. We visited three producers and enjoyed each one. Neil was very kind and extremely knowledgeable. It was a Champagne learning journey, as well as a scenic adventure. The ride from Paris was a bit long and we had traffic at times, but it was worth it to visit.

From the Cathedral to the Champaign tasting everything was great. Neal was very informative and patient with us. The stop for lunch was great too, very authentic French food. I highly recommend it.

My husband and I had an amazing experience on our tour with Neil! You can tell he is both knowledgeable and passionate about champagne and its history. He is also a skilled photographer and captured moments from our day without us having to ask, which was amazing considering we had almost no photos of the two of us together from our vacation. Oh that is a wonderful comment. At times I wish I had one of my pro cameras as an iPhone can only go so far. Yet I like capturing at least a few images of clients and supplying those images and a generic folder of images in Champagne at different points in the season. You were of course very easy to make pictures of with such a great attitude throughout the day. Champagne has enough magic to even frequent flyers and drinkers amazed! Somehow even though the Champenois don't show their emotions, they do appreciate you, your day, and your appreciation of the region, its people, terroir, and of course champagne! We had a fantastic time visiting champagne. Neil was top notch and incredibly knowledgeable. He tailored our tour to our interests and experience level. We tasted some amazing champagne from small producers.. The tour also included a visit to the cathedral in Reims and Dom Perignon's burial site. I would highly recommend.

Excellent way to see the Champagne area in a day! Neil is very knowledgeable in the Champagne making process and history of the region and handles everything so you just need to show up and enjoy. He is the tour guide and owner so no matter what day you book you're going to get an amazing experience. He is also a photographer so will take pictures for you throughout the trip. Your bubbly personality is a perfect addition to our Champagne day! This day was special, the first truly warm sunny day where the weather allowed for a picnic at the viewpoint in Hautvillers. After having a bottle at the picnic area rushed off for a perfectly timed (almost) tour at Moët & Chandon. You and the other guests made it a an unforgettable day. Someday perhaps we'll do it again.

Had a lovely time with Neil on the champagne tour! He had so much in-depth knowledge about champagne and the region in general. The tour of the large producer's chalk cellars was really interesting but our favourite part of the day was the tastings at a smaller producer on the afternoon - a really interesting selection of great champagne. The day we spent on our Champagne, France was one of the highlights of our trip! Our tour host Neil was absolutely amazing! He was very nice and he thought of everything to make our day special, including a beautiful picnic with champagne overlooking the vineyard valley. Our day was magical!

Our Champagne tour with Neil was actually my favorite among all the tours we did while in Paris. From his comfy “for touring” car to his wealth of knowledge and warm personality it all combined for the perfect day. We also appreciated after 6 days of needing to decipher strong accents on other tours not having to do that with his native Canadian understandability! It just allowed us to relax and be able to fully enjoy and understand as English speakers. He actually lead us thru the beautiful Cathedral de Reims offering facts along the way. We participated in two fabulous scheduled tasting tours and he let us quench our thirst at a 3rd unscheduled tasting as we strolled down Avenue de Champagne with him again pointing out interesting things along the way. He helped get us into a beautiful restaurant, Le Theatre for lunch. He toured us into the cellars of Philippe Martin. Both tours we got to experience were outstanding especially at Nicolas Fueillatte! It was just the right amount of tastings & info! We highly recommend this tour!!

Oh thank you so much. IT was fantastic to have you out. Glad you enjoyed all the tour with some of the highlights in first line as the Cathedral de Reims Notre Dame. Funny most people think why stop at a Cathedral while going to Champagne. The answer is quickly found when you have such a powerful beauty in front of you from the 1300s. Larger than the Notre Dame in Paris, it has an important connection to wine making, later becoming champagne making. Avenue de Champagne is always a treat, especially knowing that 200 million bottles are in aging just below where cars are rolling over with their 100km (60 miles) of cellars interconnected. I'll be honoured to have you out again in Champagne. Neil.
