Just to be on time a half hour early or less at designated meeting spot. You don't actually meeting at the tower, you meet a few minutes down the street on rue Suffren at the office.
Awesome to visit the Eiffel Tower. We took the elevator to the second floor. We then walked down the stairs to the first floor. And from there, we walked downstairs all the way to the bottom.
This was delightful. The guide was very warm, charming and engaging, as well as very attentive to some of the older attendees, which was so kind. He met us at the shop and walked us over to the Eifel Tower explaining how it would all work. We gave us some history and took us up together in the elevator. Even once there he gave some more guidance, then we were free to stay as long as we wanted. My partner and I had the privilege of being able to have a glass of champagne at the Brasserie and take in the view. Overall, a wonderful experience.
We met our guide at a site about 10 minutes away from the Eiffel Tower. We walked as a group to the tower. Once we arrived at the site, she provided historical content at different sites on the Tower property. She also let us know the best way to tour the Tower. We purchased tickets to go to the top of the tower. We reallly enjoyed the view and ate at the 2nd floor restaurant. It was a fun tour; we have great pictures. Although we took pictures at the top, the best pictures were taken on the 1st and 2nd floors. It was a great ending to our Paris trip.
Short-lived but worth it for the view on top. Our guide gave give us a little information about the area before but after security to enter the Eiffel Tower he did not didn’t wait for us and moved on with the rest of the group! Probably won’t do this particular one again. I have to internationally call the office and explain what happened and they told me to just go up to the town myself.

Our guide was knowledgeable and not only got us in quickly, but told us interesting facts and pointed out various landmarks.

Our guide provided us with the history and interesting facts about the Eiffel tower with pictures to go along with his story. He brought us to a park where we had great views and then led us through security and up the elevator to the 2nd floor where we said good by. It was a quick visit but still worth the extra attention provided.
We were late due to there being a holiday in Paris and the concierge for Viator was understanding and extremely helpful and accommodating. She let us join the next group since it was past our time and we were still able to enjoy the Eiffel Tower partially with our tour guide Tiago. He was a nice guy.
I booked a guided Eiffel Tower experience through Viator and, unfortunately, it didn’t quite live up to expectations—especially considering the price.
On the positive side, our guide was genuinely friendly and engaging. At the base of the tower, they shared some interesting historical facts and context, which was a nice start and set the tone for what I hoped would be a more in-depth experience.
However, once we actually went up the tower, the guidance essentially stopped. There was little to no explanation about the views, landmarks, or the layout of Paris from above. This was particularly disappointing because, on a previous visit, I had a guide on the second floor who went above and beyond—pointing out key locations across the city and adding rich context that really enhanced the experience.
In comparison, this tour felt quite limited. Given the premium price, I expected much more insight and interaction throughout the entire visit, not just at the beginning.
All in all, it felt overpriced for what was delivered. That said, I understand that availability was limited, and this was one of the only options to access the tower that day. If you’re simply looking for guaranteed entry, it may serve the purpose—but if you’re expecting a truly guided experience, it might fall short.

Our tour guide was nice, graceful (we had a little confusion around the meeting place), and knowledgeable. We enjoyed this experience greatly and would highly recommend it to anyone who is considering it!
Guide was pleasant, very informed and good in explaining and also ensured safety concerns were met by the group
The views from the summit are amazing. We took the 4:30 tour. This gave us daylight and evening views. Our guide stayed with us for a good amount of time. Walked us all around then to the summit elevator. She did not go up, but shared all we would want to see. At 6p, the light show began & that was a neat experience, being on the 2nd level and looking up.

Make sure you're early to meeting point. Bit of a walk away from the tower. Your bags & belongings will be screened twice like at airports. No locks, knives, scissors, etc that could score the paint. It can get cold & windy up on 2nd level. The views are amazing. Natali was a fantastic guide & everything went well & precise. Good English too. Very pleased with her efforts & knowledge.

We were able to get through the security checks and into the tower without standing in line for long. If you are clostrophobic or afraid of heights this tour is not for you. lol. The elevator rides to the second floor and to the top are packed in tight! We had a great guide (Janet) who was very fun and informative. The views are fantastic from the top and we were able to stay for as long as we liked.

It’s very helpful to have the guide direct you through the entrance and the information about the early stages of building is awesome! Kateryn was great the whole way! If you choose to go to the summit, the guide escorts you to the elevator, then says goodbye. This is fine, because once you get up there, you just want to take in the amazing view and buy a champagne for toasting to ‘the good life!’

We did this Eiffel Tower summit tour at night and I highly recommend doing it at night.
The tower was magnificent all lit up and twinkling at the beginning of each hour.
The views from the summit of Paris at night are spectacular. Highly recommended!

Our tour guide Edmund gave an excellent tour sharing much interesting history. Learning about Gustave Eiffel was especially fascinating. Getting priority access to the various elevators was key in making it a great experience. The views at every level were outstanding!

Was great to get to the second floor prior to sun set to see all of the landmarks Paris has to offer. Sunset was gorgeous!! Salame was wonderful!!
