Our best memories of traveling have always been when we've had the opportunity to have a private guide show us around a city, especially when you're on limited time. Our guide, Abi, is amazing. She reached out to us shortly after booking to ask what we were interested in seeing in Paris and to check on preferences and restrictions. We were most interested in seeing Pere Lachaise - specifically Jim Morrison & Chopin. She met us at our hotel, and we walked together to the cemetery. Abi highlighted points of interest along the way, woven with historical, political, and local information about the city. She answered so many of our questions about life in the city. She tailored our stops to how we were feeling in the moment. We stopped for a drink and took the metro to see Notre Dame, where she shared some history. Then, ended with some of her favorite local bookstores. It really was like having a friend in the city, willing to show you around and share knowledge.

Be sure to ask for a guide who is truly fluent in your relevant language. Also, look for a guide that knows interesting facts about the area you are visiting as opposed to just walking aimlessly about the city and not really learning much at all. Totally defeats the walking tour purpose; may as well just do the Hop On Bus. My guide was average at best

Cat was an American that has been in Paris for 13 years and knew all the things to see and could give great facts and details. She totally meshed with my teenagers. It was a fantastic tour!

Viator can be hit or miss depending on who they subcontract their tours to. Roffy (from City Unscripted) was an excellent guide and spent six hours with my nephew and I showing us around Paris including some of the more well known land marks along with some hidden "surprises". There were several places we went to that would never have been on our list given this was our first time in Paris so in my opinion, this tour was worth every cent to get a local perspective and see some lesser known things. Having a guide with a set route and plan also made the day much more efficient and we were able to pack in a lot. Roffy was an excellent guide. She is very knowledgeable and was fun to hang out with and the time flew by! I would highly recommend this tour (especially for a first trip to Paris)!

Our guide, Roffy, helped us to fall in love with Paris!! We are from the United States, and quite honestly, when we first arrived in the city we decided we would most likely never come back.
Now, because of Roffy, and her unique ability to communicate (both in language and her passion to understand who we were and what we wanted to see and experience), and the individually adapted tour (sites and insider tips) we cannot wait to come back year after year. Roffy’s pleasant and kind personality and her patience with us, being sure to explain history, the many districts (arrondissements)

We had a great time!!! I truly recommend taking a walking tour because Paris is a large city and there are many areas, attractions and monuments. Having guidance on where to walk, where to eat, what are the most memorable places and which ones are not as important is great. Pascal was THE BEST!!!

My friend and I had a layover in Paris. Rahul did an excellent job giving us a view of Paris. Seeing the Eiffel Tower and many other monuments close and in-person was amazing! I really enjoyed walking and exploring the local bakery and souvenir shops as well. Our 4hr tour was awesome!
