Unfortunately due to the heat we were unable to access the summit as the lift mechanism is old and not coping with the extremely hot Parisian summer.
It also took an hour to get to up to the second floor. It was only one part of the lift could be used for the first section reducing the number of those gaining access. This meant we missed the opportunity for clear photos of the city.
The view and tower are spectacular, particularly when lit up at night. The flashing lights are at 10 and 11pm for approximately 5 minutes when we visited.
Our guide Sabrina, who met us and took us into the tower was very knowledgeable.
The meeting place for the tour is outside the restaurant on the corner.

Very informative guide (Dinesh sp?), and he did well controlling rude attendees. It was also not his fault that due the 90+ temperature the Summit was closed as our tour arrived at the Eiffel Tower.
However, Viator’s advisement to not arrive late or you would miss the tour is/was false. We arrived 45 minutes early for the 4:30 PM tour to comply Viator’s warning, however the tour commenced 10-15 minutes late. The delay was due our guide waiting for a family to complete its lunch at the Cafe behind the meeting point and to process other late arriving customers.

The actual experience was good and the guide was helpful and knowledgeable however the amount changed was drastically over the entry price always a kick in the teeth to be charged more than double the face value, especially when the documentation you’re handed in the day has the face value printed on. There was a family of 5 who were charged over 900 dollars ( admittedly it included the river cruise) but don’t think I’ll be using Viator again for this reason

Great tour. Tour guides spoke good English. Walk to Eiffel Tower was a little far but manageable. We ate dinner there and came out at the perfect time to watch the Tower light show.

Whilst the tour was great, the reason I booked the tour was that it was sold as no need to queue for the lifts, however the fact of the matter is, you are just in the queue. It’s easier to buy a ticket on arrival.

Tour couldn’t have been better. We met our guide Dinesch at the scheduled meeting spot, he was informative, entertaining, interactive and very friendly. He kept the tour participants engaged and together. He was always smiling and talking with us. The tour was the perfect length and we were able to spend as much time on the tower as we needed. I honestly booked this because all of the direct booking tickets were sold out for the date and time I wanted to go. It worked out well because this tour started at a cute little cafe where my family and I were able to have breakfast before our 930 start time. Our tour guide was very informative and the pre-tour information gave lots of good insight. We didn't try to stay with the group once we got in the tower. It would have been impossible to stick together. We enjoyed the views regardless and got enough information before to make it worthwhile.

There is no direct access like they advertise. We had to wait in line for two hot hours before we got to summit. Not worth the money.

Viator made the Eiffel Tower experience incredibly easy. The instructions were clear, and the entire process was convenient from start to finish. It was terrible. I should be reimbursed. No one would help me get to the destination. The host would not cooperate in meeting me at the Effel Tower since I was already there. I had tickets go to the Summit and was already on the second floor but no one would help me get to the correct elevator to get to the Summit. Plus there were riots going on just outside of the Effel Tower. We are seniors and I felt unsafe in leaving the Effel Tower and going several blocks away to meet the host.

Our guide, Dinesh, was very knowledgeable about the Eiffel Tower and went out of his way to make sure he answered questions and engaged with everyone in the group. Because he escorted us through the security checkpoints, it seemed like we were able to get into the Eiffel Tower much faster than people in the regular ticketed/non-ticketed lines. We had a delightful visit and Dinesh went out of his way to make sure we were happy with our tour, including taking beautiful pictures of our family.

We did not get to experience. We traveled from Disneyland Paris. My son has ulcerative colitis and was not able to get his body regulated. We had to stop. Traffic was horrible and we did not make it. I communicated with the the group and we tried to get through security that did communicate back and tried to give us alternative locations to meet but we were not able to make it and were late and we were not shows.

The customer service is non-existent. John Paul kept me on the phone pretending to help for over 40 minutes and did absolutely nothing. Then received very generic, dismissive emails which contradicted their policies

The Eiffel Tower was incredible! But we were disappointed with our guide. She ushered 40 of us thru security and then talked to us about what to expect going up to the three different levels. It was such a large group and she couldn’t project her voice, so she asked that only one person from each group stand close to her. So half the group missed out on the narrative. Very annoying!

The security is frightening. It is more than getting on an airplane and that is ominous. The elevator are very crowded and I suggest you admire from the outside instead of subjecting yourself to being treated as an animal

The Eiffel Tower experience was wonderful however the meet up point to get your tickets was not at the Eiffel Tower. It was probably about 15 minutes away and it was confusing. So many people were like is this the right spot. It just felt unnecessary and it would’ve been so much easier if we could’ve collected the tickets at the Eiffel Tower.

The meeting place outside of the Eiffel Tower was a lot further away than we had anticipated. The guide did not have a loud enough voice, so she was difficult to hear and understand. Then when she turned to guide us to the entrance, she was walking so fast it was difficult to keep up with her.
