Our meeting point is the “Creature from Iddefjord” sculpture ("Skapning fra Iddefjord") outside the main entrance to Deichman Bjørvika Library. See tour photos. If coming by Taxi, ask to be dropped at the library. This is a quiet spot, so I'm generally the only other person there, I will find you!

We will be 95% on asphalt, but there is one short gravel path and one short stretch with cobble stones at the fortress
If you book the optional Vigeland Park extension, the park can be muddy if it has been raining, so bring appropriate footwear. In the winter, Vigeland Park is sometimes too icy for a comfortable visit. I can possibly give you spikes for your shoes, contact me in advance if you are unsure of the conditions.

Great tour if you are short on time. Really enjoyed the back story of Norway and how it has come to be today. Loved visiting places that I may not have gone to without our clever guide and her in depth explanations of each site and it's special features and meanings.

This Oslo City Walking Tour is a delightfully pleasant, highly informative, artistic, architectural, historically informative experience. The guide Ramy is energetic, warm, professional and well educated about Oslo's history and culture. I highly recommend this tour and am very pleased to have met Ramy and to have participated in this Oslo City Walking Tour. I suggest the extension tram ride with guide Ramy to see, walk and learn about Vigeland Park. Pamy's knowledge about the sculptor and his different masterpieces adds insight and appreciation for this uniquely amazing public park.
