    OMG!! This was the BEST experience… the driver Giuseppe was phenomenal! Attentive… friendly …. So courteous! He went out of his way to make sure we were picked up and got into the gates! And what a great driver!!! ROCKSTAR! If I could give you 20 stars I would! Thank you!!

    The experience itself was very nice. Very impressive crater and well worth the climb with spectacular views over Naples. The transport though was absolutely chaotic. No lines, people pushing to get into the bus, no organisation whatsoever. Thankfully there were buses every 5 minutes but for the return we really had to fight to get into the bus. Would be great to improve the organisation to make it a more memorable experience.

    Versuvuis plus shuttle

    Amazing experience! This was definitely the highlight of our trip. It took my teenagers 20 minutes to walk up to the Crater. I would definitely take the shuttle as the car park is a long walk from the entry which is only accessible by shuttle. Breathtaking views. My daughter wanted to give up a 1/4 of the way up as reported it was hard going but my son pushed her the remainder of the way. Finishing was a great achievement 👏

    The trip was fine. However we could have used more time. It felt rushed once we arrived we had just over an hour to get to the top and back down, and there is loose gravel and uneven ground so if you are not in shape it would be very hard to make it to the top. My suggestion would be to allow another 30 minutes time.

    Explosive trip to vesuvius

    Arrival is a bit chaotic - one queue regardless of which trip you are on that day. Return is utter carnage - given a time to be back for bus but it’s irrelevant and just a bun fight- no ticket checking and if the bus driver fancies you then you’ll be fine. Vesuvius is great but next time I would walk up as you get a much more interesting itinerary with information on the route and good paths. You only join with the masses at the end.

    Reliable way to summit Vesuvio

    Vesuvio Express booked through Viator is a great way to get to Vesuvio and Pompeii in a single day, and Viator’s free cancellation policy if the weather forecast looks bad is reassuring. We went to Pompeii straight from Vesuvio, taking the SITA bus (cheap fare) from Vesuvio instead of returning to Ercalono on the Express to then take the train to Pompeii —doing this gave us more time at Pompeii site. We encountered people on Vesuvio who did not take Vesuvio Express, did not have Vesuvio park tickets, and were denied access to the summit trail. This is a reliable way to get to the summit.

    Wir kamen verspätet zum Nationalpark og statt der im Produkt versprochenen 2 Stunden Aufenthalt, hatten wir nur 1 Stunde 15 Minuten. Definitv zu wenig, wenn man sich nicht hetzen will. Wir haben uns entschieden den Bus fahren zu lassen, da wir mit einem letzten Linienbus gerechnet haben, der nicht kam. Der Vulkan und die Aussicht sind beeindruckend, die Wissensvermittlung entlang des Pfads mangelhaft, und die Souvenirshops unterwegs schmälern meiner Meinung nach das Naturerlebnis deutlich. Trotzdem sollte man auf jeden Fall Tickets im vorausbestellen, um dann nicht vor den Parktoren mit fehlendem Netz, Wifi und lastminute tickets zu kämpfen.

    Impresionante subida del Bus por una estrecha y ecarpada carretera de montaña y la subida a pie hasta el borde del crater se Vesubio. Corres el riesgo de en contrar mal tiempo y cancelan la entrada al parque.

    Der bus war alt und schlecht klimatisiert, das könne man für diesen preis erwarten! Die Fenster konnten nicht geöffnet werden. Man kommt schon überhitzt an, und hat dann noch den aufstieg vor sich. Die reifen waren platt und der bus hat generell keinen sicheren eindruck gemacht, würde bei uns wohl nicht mehr auf der strasse sein. Preis / leistungsverhältnis nicht ok!
