He took us to places that most tourists miss and gave us the ultimate CDMX insider’s view on some of the most important sites in the city. Ricardo is a super cool guy and he’s got a friend in us now!

A must in Mexico City

Kendra_E, Jan 2026
This is one of the best tours I have ever been on. Ricardo knows the city really well, so we got to see hidden gems that a lot of people would never see on their own. This tour gave good historical context, showcased a lot of beauty, but also included hidden rooftops for pandemic views. It felt like we were able to do the touristy things but it never felt touristy. We felt like we had insider access. Ricardo was very knowledgeable and very passionate about his home.

Fabulous walking tour!

We just took Ricardo's walking tour. We loved it! Ricardo's love for this city is infectious. He pointed out and showed us things that we never would have noticed or found without a knowledgeable guide. He is a great communicator and made the history (and the present) of Mexico City very interesting and awesome. He also takes great pictures. Id say to anyone visiting (or even locals) you should do this tour. And, do it early in your trip because we left with a great many suggestions for things to do after our tour ended. Thanks Ricardo for such a memorable day!

Fantastic Historic Center Tour

Linda_D, Oct 2025
What can I say about the day I had touring the fabulous historic district with Ricardo except that it was one of the best days I’ve had in my travels? Big statement, I know, but I stand by it. Ricardo’s passion for his city, its people history and art are so evident, and you can’t help but be swept up in it. He showed me “secret” spots for amazing views. He gave me insight into the what makes Mexico México. Our time together flew by. I would do a tour with Ricardo again in a heartbeat.

Excellent Chilango insider!

This was an excellent way to start my week in Mexico City. I feel I got the jackpot joining Ricardo for a solo tour! Very kind, full of knowledge, history, and pride in where he lives. By the end I felt I had made a new friend and like I knew some true hidden gems of the city as well. Thanks amigo!

Ricardo is great!

Ricardo was an incredible tour guide! There were so many spots and places that he took us to that we would have never known about, and he pivoted seamlessly when several spots that are usually open were closed due to protests. It was the perfect way to start our time in Mexico City, giving us a deeper appreciation for the beauty of Mexican Culture. He even went the extra mile to ensure that we made it home when many of the streets were closed off.

Really Epic Tour

DENNIS_E, Sep 2025
This walking tour is a must. Ricardo is very knowledgeable of the area; he showed us places that otherwise we would not be aware of. My wife and I enjoyed the tour. Plus he gave us tips on where to visit next and the good places to eat.

A Local’s Perspective: Discovering Sites and Hidden Gems in Mexico City with Ricardo

Zachary_R, Sep 2025
This tour was a highlight of our trip to Mexico City. Ricardo’s knowledge and passion for the architecture, history, and culture of the city made the experience a special one. Our tour felt like we were off the beaten path and got a unique look at the city through a local’s perspective. We also enjoyed some great rooftop views and hidden gems throughout the Mexico City. Highly recommend this tour to anyone looking to see the city and learn about its culture and history.

Very complete tour!

As I was the only person to have booked this tour, it ended up being a private tour. Ricardo was a very friendly guide, he gave me a lot of information about the history of Mexico and he allowed me to take as many pictures as I wanted. He showed me some secret spots and hidden gems so I consider myself lucky to have been given this beautiful tour. The duration of the tour was 5h30, almost 20 000 steps, and every bit of this tour was really worth it!!!
