Ricardo is a wonderful guide! We really enjoyed the tour. It’s awesome to hear about the history and context, we really got to know the neighbourhood through a carefully curated path. Would recommend!

Ricardo is an excellent and very knowledgeable tour guide! He provided several historical facts along the tour and you can definitely tell he is passionate about the city of Mexico (:
I recommend this tour if you’re interested in seeing the popular spots for locals, hidden gems, history, and architecture.
Bring comfortable shoes and be prepared to walk! Bring an umbrella in case of rain.

Not only did we see historical places, Ricardo also showed us the hidden gems of Roma Norte and Condesa. Ricardo is very knowledgeable of the areas and thorough too!
Look no further and book this, you won’t regret it!

Ricardo was super sweet, I ended up being the only person on the tour so he made it as personalized as he could for me. He gave me so many recommendations and taught me about the history of each area. I had a great time.

Fun walking tour with lots to see and learn about the neighborhoods and the city. Ricardo is a great guide

Truly an epic tour with Ricardo! Great day with great insight with stops along the way to appreciate the history and culture of the area with some “hidden gems” that were terrific. Wonderful tour that is a must with Ricardo.

Ricardo is a lovely guy and a fantastic guide. His knowledge of art, history and architecture is both impressive and accessible. I was lucky to have a solo tour with him, but no matter what he is the person to take you around these beautiful neighborhoods.

Highly recommended! Anyone who loves to walk (wear comfy shoes) and explore gorgeous neighbourhoods this is the tour for you. Great guide who knows and loves his town. Condesa and Roma are filled with stories, scenery, parks and art and Ricardo does an amazing job bringing them to life over five fabulous hours!

I booked this tour on our first full day in CDMX. Our hotel was in Roma Norte, and I thought an informed stroll would help to familiarize ourselves with the neighborhood. Our tour guide, Ricardo, did not disappoint. His love for his city is so evident in his carefully planned and extensive tour. On our walk, Ricardo spoke about architecture, history, economy, social trends and art while also shuffling us into a beautifully curated mansion, down cobblestoned alleys, up to rooftop lounges, inside lush green courtyards, through an art exhibit in a hidden modern stairwell. All the time, checking in with us to see how we were feeling. We had two short "breaks", one in a lovely hotel coffee shop and then in an amazing pastry cafe. Even if you are not staying in this charming, tree-lined, historic area, I would highly recommend booking this tour with Ricardo.

Ricardo was the perfect guide to guide us in these two communities. We appreciated getting outside of the historic district to learn more about these two vibrant areas. We had several breaks along the way for coffee or something cold. He also took us to the best pastry shop around! We loved the parks, at galleries and shops. Wear comfortable shoes!

Key tour highlights were visits to ‘local’ gems that I would’ve missed as a first time visitor. I had a great overall experience. Ricardo communicated early, arrived on time and highly recommended.

We had a great time exploring the amazing neighborhoods of Roma Norte and Condesa with Ricardo, our tour guide. He has so much knowledge of the neighborhoods as he is a self identified Chilango. We saw some of the most beautiful architecture, specifically how different it was depending on the neighborhood and when it was established. We visited some amazing art galleries and had some coffee and snack breaks and some really amazing spots...including what's probably the best bakery I have ever been too. I would definitely recommend this tour with Ricardo. Just make sure you have some comfortable shoes on since you'll get nearly 12,000 steps in!!!!

Truly excellent guide with a comprehensive knowledge of the history of Mexico City and particularly these two neighborhoods. Very accommodating to the pace and interest of the guests. We saw many areas we had not seen when we were in these neighborhoods before.
Vadna_W, Mar 2026
Ricardo is a delight to spend time with. His insight into the history and culture in these areas was appreciated. He was also attentive to our needs and customized the tour for us. He was also easy to communicate with before, during and after the walking tour.

Ricardo is a gem. He is knowledgable, interesting, friendly, and takes you to all of the places you want to see--from the major highlights to the more unknown spots that only a local would know about. We covered a ton of ground on our tour and by the end of the afternoon felt we had a really good sense of both neighborhoods. Ricardo also made himself available by text after for any questions we had about places to go, food, etc. during the rest of the trip. Highly recommend!
Lynn_P, Feb 2026
Ricardo talked about the very interesting character and history of the two neighborhoods. We felt well informed by his tour. He was friendly and concerned about our wellbeing on the walk.
Monica_L, Jan 2026
This walking tour was fun, informative and covered a lot of ground! Ricardo has extensive knowledge about the areas and will show you interesting and fun facts!
Matthew_B, Jan 2026
Great walking tour, knowledgeable about the area. Explained the history of the area and showed us many significant buildings.
bari_m, Jan 2026
Fantastic afternoon, walking through beautiful neighborhoods, learning about the history of Condesa and Roma Norte and their architectural styles. And a “not to miss” bakery you will re-visit again! Highly recommend this walking tour to anyone who wants to learn about Mexico City. These are the neighborhoods I will stay in the next time I visit. The parks are simply beautiful.

This is one of my favorite places in the world and Ricardo was an amazing guide! It was just the two of us that day and it felt like exploring the city with your very knowledgeable friend. This tour takes up most of the day and covers a lot of ground but it was really incredible.
Celine_S, Jan 2026
Ricardo was very knowledgeable about the history and architecture of the Condesa and Roma Norte neighborhoods. He also shared personal experiences that made old and recent events come to life. Note that this tour includes a few breaks but is very long (5+ hours). I recommend it to people in decent physical shape who are really into architecture and local history.
Michele_W, Jan 2026
Enjoyed the experience.
Loved the architecture. Beautiful area.. very pleasant day.
Interesting part of the city.

My husband and I had a wonderful time exploring La Condesa and Roma with Ricardo. He is a wonderful guide and a delightful companion. We had wide ranging conversations about Mexican history, art, culture, architecture, and contemporary politics. We were lucky enough to be the only people on Ricardo’s tour, and he was very flexible— curious about what we wanted to see and do, and happy to add a couple of stops (including a detour for street tacos). This was a great way to visit two lovely neighborhoods, and Ricardo was able to share lots of spots we would never have found on our own.
Luca_B, Dec 2025
Ricardo was excellent! He took us all over the place and showed us parts of the city we never would have been able to find on our own. He was also extremely knowledgeable and went above and beyond to recommend some dinner spots. We ate at two of the restaurants he recommended and they were excellent.
Joanne_R, Nov 2025
Great walking tour. Recommend Ricardo very friendly and knowledgable. Lasted about 4.5 hours, with breaks.
Tom_T, Nov 2025
Ricardo is very experienced and welcoming, and made me feel at home in a new city as a foreigner. He took me to some great local spots for art, history, and food - we were walking for about 5 hours but it felt much shorter!
Oren_S, Oct 2025
Ricardo is a wonderful local guide who speaks perfect English. The tour is interesting and engaging.
Michelle_O, Aug 2025
This is as an excellent introduction to Roma and Condesa. Ricardo was so friendly and knowledgeable about the area and city. We saw so many hidden gems that we would never have seen on our own. Be prepared to walk a lot but there are breaks built into the tour to rest. Would highly recommend this tour. Thanks Ricardo!
Randi_D, Jul 2025
Ricardo was a great tour guide, very knowledgeable, kind, friendly, and personable. If you're in Condesa and Roma Norte, I'd highly recommend booking him to learn about the area's rich history and local favorites. He showed us a ton places we wouldn't have found on our own. Great guy all around 10/10 🔥
Shelley_S, Jul 2025
Ricardo was so knowledgeable of the area. He did an amazing tour. It was a lot of walking but I got to see so much of the neighborhoods. It was beautiful and the architecture was stunning. I loved the galleries, pastry stop, and street tacos.
