Our guide, Erika, sent us a message prior to our trip letting us know what to plan for and indicated we should be prepared to have a blast. She was absolutely correct. We had a blast! Erika is a fabulous guide. She taught us so much about Medellin. It’s culture, people, and history. She loves her city and it comes through in her thorough, thoughtful, and enthusiastic explanations of all things — even answers to our silly questions. The flower tour itself was amazing. The farm is beautiful and the family welcoming. Learning about the history of flowers and the annual flower festival was entertaining and so so interesting. The woman from the farm was so enthusiastic and vivid in her explanations that I felt like I understood what she was saying even though I did not understand Spanish. It made us want to come back for the flower festival. All in all a fabulous trip!!
