Following 8:45am pickup at your hotel or accommodation in Mauritius, meet your dedicated guide and set off on your 8-hour private tour of the island nation's capital.

Spend some time shopping for souvenirs and local handmade crafts in the Central Market of Port Louis, Market Craft, and the Caudan Water Front Shopping Complex. Then head for the Pamplemousses (Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam Botanical Garden) to learn about the wide variety of native tropical flowers and plants, including a unique spice garden.

Your next stop is the Sugar Estate and Museum, where your guide will fill you in on the history of the sugar trade in Mauritius. Relax and catch your breath at Mont Choisy Public Beach, one of the most beautiful beaches on this side of the island, then move on to check out the Cap Malheureux Church, famous for its bright red roof. The trip was well organised and ran smoothly. Our guide was knowledgable and informative. We enjoyed seeing a different part of the island. The only part we didn’t feel was value for money was the sugar factory.

The trip with our guide VIC was excellent. The only downside, which had nothing to do with our guide was shopping in the arts and craft area in Port Louis. We were seen off by a shop selling clothing and rum, tea and other tourist items, paying well above what appeared to be the price. Our own fault, but it did spoil the trip. We had a lovely walk around the botanical gardens, the sugar cane musée and a visit to the red roofed church. Excellent location for lunch. Thanks Vic for a great day.

My cruise was scheduled to depart Reunion Island on the12th of March 2020. When we got to the dock no one was boarding and the staff was handing out notices that the 30 day cruise had been cancelled due to the coronavirus. Since I was unable to participate I was told that the company was operating normally and I was not entitled to a refund.

Had booked an English guide, but he could hardly speak English at all. He was also sick and after spending the day in the car with him, both my wife and I were sick a few days later and we spent the rest of our beach holiday coughing and sneezing. We were taken to a dodgy restaurant for lunch with no other choice offered. We originally understood that as we had booked a private tour, the itinerary was flexible, but not so much...

Guide/taxi très agréable. On a pu tout voir ainsi qu’une fabrique de thé qui n’était pas au programme. C’est quand même cher car les entrées ne sont pas comprises et les prix « touristes » sont relativement cher. La mauvaise nouvelle du matin était que notre guide prévu ne pouvait pas assurer la journée et si nous n’avions pas contacté le prestataire nous aurions attendu très longtemps devant notre hôtel! Heureusement que Manoj était là pour relever cette super journée.

Tour veramente bellissimo e pieno. Abbiamo avuto modo di ammirare mole delle bellezze che quest'isola riserva. Molto interessante l'orto botanico con piante ed alberi di varie tipologie credo sconosciute a molti di noi europei, panorami molto belli, esperienza del mercato da fare, un pò di shopping al Caudan Waterfront, ma la cosa che mi ci ha interessato maggiormente sono le visite a due bellissimi templi Tamilche ti lasciano veramente senza parole. Tutto ciò con un plus valore la nostra guida, unica e insostituibile, il cortesissimo sig. Dhiran, una persona che si è messa completamente a nostra disposizione fornendoci informazioni a non finire, erudendoci un pò sulla religione induista (mettendoci la curiositò di approfondire una volta tornati a casa) ed è stato una fonte notevolissima di notizie su ogni aspetto del paese. Insomma, Mauritius per noi senza la guida di Dhiran non sarebbe stato la stessa cosa. Un grazie infinito a lui e a Viator per averci permesso di averlo con noi. Ultra consigliatissimo.
