Kayak Fishing in Mauritius

Myself and my wife, who have absolutely zero fishing experience, enjoyed the best morning sea kayak fishing with Wresley. From the start booking on viator both Vincent and Wresley were prompt at making contact with us to make sure that our booking day would go as smooth as possible asking about our previous experience, what we should expect on the day and directions to get to the meeting spot. On arrival we were greeted with the warm personality of Wresley who first introduced and showed us how to begin our fishing adventure on the beach with casting the rod. He was super patient and extremely knowledgeable putting us both at ease and getting us excited for the day ahead. When it was time to finally get going in the kayak we had a short padel out to the fishing spot enjoying the peace around and having a wonderful chat with Wresley along the way. As two completely new people to fishing it took us a while to get the hang of it but every step of the way Wresley was giving us tips on how to improve and he allowed us to have enough time and space to enjoy and practice by ourselves without over-managing us; even when we lost two of his lures (sorry again Wresley) he calmly came over and got us going again. We both managed to finally catch a few fish and even though they wouldn't win any trophies we all celebrated as if they would! Wresley never pressured us for time and allowed us to fully enjoy the whole experience and that is exactly what we did, we would both fully recommend this experience to anyone, whether you have fished before or not!
