This was a great way to spend a Sunday afternoon! Ema was so informative and fun-giving a great history of Malta and how it influenced not just wine, but many current ways of doing things. Plus the pairings were delicious!

2nd visit as enjoyed the first and wanted to share again with friends. Very disappointed this time around as there wasn’t much in the way of discussion around the wines rather and how it pairs with each chocolate like on my first visit. There also was no information on wine or chocolate making. The first trip was better with the lady having so much knowledge. All that being said, we still had a nice time and was offered lots of wine following the tasting.

Trying delicious local Maltese wines & local chocolates from the Malta Chocolate Factory was a lovely way to spend a few hours in Bugibba. Our guide was lovely, funny & very knowledgeable about the local wines & the science behind how the chocolatea enhance the flavor profiles in the wines. I was there solo but the experience was great as there was a group of young girls on holiday there as well so they made it more fun! This experience would be great for couples as well. So glad I went, thanks for a great time!

This experience is a must do for wine and chocolate lovers. Our guide did an excellent job of explaining the history of wine making in Malta and also covered a fair bit of general history too. Chocolate was to die for and matched perfectly with the wine selected. Who would have known white chocolate is a perfect match for prosecco, forget the strawberries and raspberries you haven't live until you've done this tour and got a taste of both together. Thank you for a wonderful experience, it was like having a glass or two with an old friend.

We booked this as something extra to do one day. Totally Loved the activity. Chocolate was amazing. Wines we tried went beautifully with each chocolate. The facilitator for pairing gave a great talk on Malta history too. I would recommend if you have time add in making the chocolate too.

What a fantastic way to spend a couple hours. The member of staff that gave us the talk, described the wines perfectly and was so knowledgeable of their origin & how the grapes came to be grown on Malta. The chocolates were fabulous too and it was a real eye opener to see how they changed the flavour/acidity of the wines. I would highly recommend this experience.

Really informative experience- lots of historical detail, delicious chocolate and lovely wine! More wine than I was expecting and you do drink it faster than you normally would as you pair it with each chocolate so you might be a bit tipsy when you leave! Be sure to take some time to look round the shop at the amazing chocolate creations before you go.

Emma our tutor was excellent, she was very knowledgeable and passionate about the Maltese wines and the chocolates which were made on the premises. We had a fun afternoon tasting and comparing, the wines were delicious as were the chocolates! A must do experience while in Malta!

The experience to Malta Chocolate Factory was a gift from a friend and I was expecting that that will be a touring, but it was a taste of 4 types of wines and handmade cholocates. The lady who gave the touring was excellent and she explaint in details about the wine and Maltese history and also the pairing of not only cholocates but also the food in general that get pairing with the wine.

Loved learning about the different wines available in Malta, and history behind the grape varieties over there. It was also interesting to find the reasoning behind the wine and chocolate pairings. Our host was funny and entertaining which made it even more memorable. Definitely an experience not to be missed in Malta!
