The full circuit ride took us all around so we saw some amazing places. The tour guide Valentina was our host. It was hard to understand all of the English because it was so muffled on the speakers.

We were disappointed with this tour bus experience. Most of the highlights were on the left side and it was dark we thought we see enough with the lightning , so from our seats we could hardly see anything. The guide Olga, was speaking extremely loud (maybe due to the speaker system), but also very, very fast, making it almost impossible to understand, even in English there were more people who thought the same. Overall, it was frustrating and not worth the time or money.

Visibility from the upper deck of the bus is poor. It was a beautiful night, and I would’ve rather have been in open air bus. Ours had frosted plexiglass ceiling and obstructions when looking out the window. Our guide’s commentary was 2/3 Spanish 1/3 English and although I could understand the Spanish, my partner didn’t get nearly as much out of the tour.

Tour started 35 mins late due to overbooking.
Microphone was static at times and not clear,.
City sights were pretty lit up at night but towards the end it was too dark due to starting late.

Afternoon evening timing gives very interesting lighting of sights as sunset approaches. Bus had individual audio translations for every seat which WERE NOT USED. Heavily accented guide spoke VERY FAST first in English then repeated in Spanish. The pop songs played were an irrelevance. The history and other commentary that we managed to hear was satisfactory. The bus meeting point was a shambles as all passengers had to jog 500m up the road to where the bus was actually parked.

Christina the tour guides English is not good. If she spoke more slowly and at a lower pitch I think it would be ok but I barely understood most of what she said and neither did the English speakers nearby. She spoke at the same speed as when she spoke Spanish

Definitely bring a coat because the driver is doing race car delivering with a bus. All the views are obstructed and not actually not discussed very well. The narrator was very dry. It was almost like he didn’t want to be involved. He was not interested nor even pointing things out completely it’s definitely not worth and can be skipped

This time if the year (Sept) really works well for this. Lion/ Leon was a great guide. Tour is about 75mins long and covers the major avenues and sites but strangely did not point to the Prado and Reina Sofia museums that were right there. Would recommend to use the night time well. Monuments are very well lit.

This tour was completely modified due to a celebration in Madrid and was not at all what we had expected. We understand that the tour was affected by the celebration. But, we tried to contact the tour operator and Viator via their Web site to see if the tour was impacted and we never got a reply

It was not the best tour. The tour operator sent out an email stating to be promptly there 15 minutes early to scan tickets. I was very early, but she did not show up until five minutes until start time. She showed up with some friends. I asked her which seats were best, but she did not tell the truth about that so her friends got them. Although, they were arrived much later than me. and it lasted 65 to 70 minutes. When it is sold as an 80 minute tour. Plus her English is very quickly spoken so a bit more difficult to understand.

The experience was way below our expectations. Firstly, there were instructions to pick up tickets (different from the bus stop) and we were looking for the pick-up point. It turned out that we didn't need to pick up tickets, our names were confirmed at the time of bus entrance. This was frustrating and waste of time. Secondly, there was very little information provided when we were passing landmarks. Even worst, the guide would start sentence in English, then name landmark in Spanish, and finishes sentence in Spanish. Lastly, the longevity of tour was announced to be for 2 hours, our tour on January 13 lasted only 1 hour. I will be contacting Customer Care for a partial refund. Unfortunately, because of this tour we got very poor picture of Madrid.

I really didn't like the tour. First, the design of the buses with that roof doesn't allow you to see anything. On the sides of the buses there's a bar that doesn't allow you to take good photos. I don't recommend the tour, it was a waste of money.
