In the morning, make your own way to the launch site—or, if you upgraded when booking, depart from your centrally located Madrid hotel in a comfortable, air-conditioned minivan. Admire the spectacular scenery on the short drive to Villanueva de la Cañada.
Upon arrival, meet your pilot and fellow group, and listen to a comprehensive safety briefing. Then, prepare to take to the skies. Hear the roar of the gas flame as the balloon begins to inflate, then climb into the sturdy basket and being your flight.
Capture bird's-eye views of Guadarrama Regional Park as you soar over undulating mountains and dense oak forests. Along the way, look out for monuments such as the Castle of Mocha.
After roughly an hour in the air, make a smooth landing and then enjoy your Spanish brunch. Savor an authentic meal featuring succulent chorizo and cured cheeses while sipping a chilled glass of cava.
Once you've received your flight certificate, bid farewell to your guide and group, and travel back to your Madrid hotel or Villanueva, depending on which option you selected. After the flight, receive a souvenir photo and video.

I bought a flight for myself and my boyfriend for birthday gift. It was supposed to be in Madrid but due to the weather condition we were rescheduled for Segovia, which was fine because we got transportation from home to Segovia and back to Madrid. All the staff members were very nice, English speakers and professional. Only minus was that the basket was really crowded as they put 5 of us to one square so it was a bit difficult to move and we were on top of each other when we landed. Otherwise everything was perfect, easy, on time etc.

The guys were wonderful! Pilot was very experienced and let you really enjoy the experience. Loved the cava and snacks afterwards! We had to move locations and I initially wasn't sure if I would like as well, but it was truly amazing!!!

The trip started off with an added bonus where our balloon would fly over Segovia to see sights we would not otherwise see. The staff were all friendly, helpful and you always felt safe in their obvious competency flying.

The hot air ballon ride was wonderful. The tour operator communicated very well. Pick up and drop off was directly at our airbnb which was helpful. Watching them prepare the ballons for flight was almost as interesting and fun as the actual balloon ride. One thing to know is that climbing into and out of the basket could be challenging for older people or people who are overweight or out of shape but the tour people were awesome at assiting people with entry and exit. My only "compaint" for this excursion was saying that after the ballon ride a "Spanish buffett breakfast" would be provided. I assumed (I know my fault for assuming) this would be a sit down at table/facility for breakfast. Instead it was a card table set up in the field where we landed with mimosa and some salami and pepperoni with some crackers. You just had to stand and eat these snacks...no tables or seats. We had to stand for a good amount of time while the workers defalted the balloons and packed everything up before we could leave. Might be difficult for some people to stand that long...I ended up sitting on a rock in field. With that said, I still think this was an awesome excursion and I would do it again...it was probably my family's favorite thing we did during our week in Spain! Also the young men leading this excursion were all wonderful and did great jobs!! Love that we each got a "cerificate" at the end saying we bravely survived the hot air ballon ride!

Watching the balloons get set up was almost as interesting as going up. It was very cool to see the landscape and town from such a low, yet aerial angle. Definitely a worthwhile experience. And the Cava helps!
Only wish we had enough people to go to Guadarrama and not Segovia and that communication would have been clearer about that. I did not know I was going to Segovia until I was picked up

Segovia is the best flying area, much more interesting than any other places. The castle, the cathedral and the Roman Aqueduct are unique!

Most memorable is getting screwed by the tour. He canceled our original location of Madrid and offered a different location. I asked him what time would we be picked up and he never responded. Just sent me a confirmation which I didn’t receive until the night before. He told me the next day that he put us as a no show and charged me $500 USD. Definitely not ethic.

Untortunately your comments do not match the facts. We responded every message in a timely manner and in the first one we explained that the exact pickup time would be confirmed the day before the flight as we need to setup the routes based on each customer’s location, and we sent your pickup details in the afternoon. 4 hours later you changed your mind and decided not to take part in the tour, and due to this short notice and the cancelation policy, this is considered as a no show which we explained to you after receiving your message.

- the car could not fit us well. they should have a van for 7 people.

Dear Mark, thanks for your comments, although we have difficulties trying to understand them. We have a very comfortable van for the pickups. The balloons fly with the same direction of the wind, so there is no way to deceide where to go. We launch infront of the Gothic Cathedral and Alcázar of Segovia, but you forgot to mention this interesting places which most of the passengers enjoy very much. Best regards,
