We meet in Marina do Funchal at Pier B where the smaller boats, yachts are. In the afternoon on the day before the tour we will be sending you the exact instructions in order to find our boat easily, the departure point of the tour and also the meeting time as that differs based on sunset time.

Paulo gave us the best experience possible. He is so kind and also knows alot about Madeira.
We really enjoyed the trip with him. He is trustworthy and we had nice conversations with him. Also Nice was the bottle of champagne, the cheese, the chips and the muffins.

I cannot recommend this experience enough. I originally booked the trip for Wednesday evening however we had a disaster of a journey to Madeira and we had to divert, meaning we couldn’t do the trip. Paulo was extremely understanding and managed to reschedule our trip for the day later, swapping us with another couple. I informed Paulo of my plan to propose to my girlfriend on the boat, to which he helped and gave me suggestions on when to do it. He took photos of us and once the proposal was done he provided us with champagne and snacks. He informed us with useful information about the island. It was a beautiful and intimate tour, if you’re looking for something different and quiet look no further and book this. You’ll not be disappointed. Thanks again Paulo for a wonderful experience, something we will both never forget.

Captain Paulo was extremely hospitable and knowledgeable about Madeira. It was a new perspective seeing Madeira from the ocean from Paulo’s boat. As we skirted along the coast we also saw the fishing village Câmara de Lobos as well as Cabo Girão. As Paulo is a life long resident of the island , we were able to learn so much history about each location. To better watch the sunset, we went further from the coastline. Paulo provided light snacks (including chips, cheese, mixed nuts) and a variety of beverages (we chose Coral beers and white wine). The sunset was amazingly beautiful, but unexpectedly, as we came back into Madeira in the darkness, the city lights were an incredible sight to see. Without hesitation we highly recommend this sunset excursion with Paulo.

This was an excellent addition to our trip. Paulo was very accommodating when the weather of our original booking wasn’t looking so favourable he allowed us to swap our day meaning we got to have a spectacular sunset boat ride. This was a wonderful way to see the island and Paulo was very knowledgeable on various parts of the island. I recommend doing this early in your trip as you do come away with more recommendations for things to do. The sunset was beautiful and the views were breathtaking! The wine and snacks were also a nice touch!

The trip was wonderful, Paulo is a great host with nice anecdotes on Madeira! We started at 6PM and went back to the pier around 8:30PM. We had snacks and good drinks were included. We also could put our own music!

Lovely sunset cruise (via motoring) on a 36’ sailboat. Beautiful views and a nice captain who shared a lot about the island and its history. We were lucky enough to enjoy both a beautiful sunset and a full moon.

We had an amazing time with Paulo as our skipper during an evening boat tour in early September! It's an amazing experience and we thoroughly recommend it for any occasion, although in our case it was a romantic one ;).
We marveled at the gorgeous Madeira landscape and learned a lot about the island, nature, history, and attractions on the island.

Paulo was incredible. He had great communication leading up to the boat ride. Once we started, he shared the itinerary, and as we road along the water, he spoke about the places we were seeing. We played music, drank wine and ate snacks (both of which he provided) and hand a wonderful time soaking in the beautiful views of Madeira. We even spotted some dolphins, and he excitedly steered us off route to see them and take pictures! I recommend this as a romantic date, a family adventure or a friend hangout! You will not ever disappointed.
