    Michela is a joyful local who loves her job: I arrived late to my private tour of Lucca and she took it in stride, cheerfully adjusting our route and highlighting what our time together could accommodate without effort or attitude. Her deep knowledge of the area, and of Lucca in particular, is a gift she relishes in sharing. She pointed out where I could explore further on my own, buy silk scarves (silk made Lucca wealthy), and even the perfect spot for lunch after we said our goodbyes. You can’t go wrong with this tour.
