What an amazing experience. Marika is so knowledgeable and accommodating and friendly. Seeing Lucca in a horse and carriage was the highlight of our trip to Italy.

Marika and her horse Mario were fantastic! Marika is full of historical knowledge and Mario maneuvers the carriage through narrow streets with skill. He even stops at local businesses for a treat or two. The carriage is very comfortable and well maintained and you are often riding in shade. We have been in Italy for two weeks and this tour was a highlight! I would definitely recommend !

Not enough stars to rate this experience! Merica and Luigi (Gigi) along with Stefano provided an incredibly informative and fun tour of Lucca. Great way to get a feel for the city on your first day of a visit or anytime really. Gigi is a pseudo celebrity and gets treats from multiple restaurants along the tour. Merica is very informative and entertaining and you can tell she enjoys doing the tour and showing off her city.

Amazing overview of the beautiful city of Lucca. Was happy to go also go along on the city wall. Tour guide was knowledgeable and well versed. Was a little hard to understand with his accent but happy he spoke English. Highlight of seeing Lucca!

Picked a 4pm slot on a hot day for our 1 hour tour. Alot of journey is shaded as worried about the horse. Guide, Marios told us alot about history of Lucca. Wind in and out streets then up onto the outer wall. Glorious.

Riding through the ancient streets and alleyways of Lucca in a horse drawn carriage was very unique and special. Our driver was very knowledgeable and provided insights into the life and times of the people of Lucca. The highlight was when Mario, the horse, stopped at a pizzeria, stuck his head in the door and waited for his treat of prosciutto.

Marika's tour was one of the highlights of our trip to Italy. We were able to cover a lot more ground than we would have on foot and learned so much about the history of Lucca. Her horse had a great disposition - it didn't even flinch when cannons were being shot off by reenactors on the wall.
