Thomas was our guide for the day! He was very personable and took the time to learn about our families interest for the day! He was very knowledgeable about the Italian history and our area. Thomas gave us the flexibility to decide how our day would go after he gave us his expert opinion. He also helped us navigate the best restaurant to choose for a delicious lunch. We had a fantastic day!

Marco is very nice and is a great driver. He really explains how the transportation works in the Cinque Terre. However, this is basically just transportation to and from the Cinque Terre. He does not tour with the group which we were expecting based on the Viator Experience post. I thought it was a bit expensive for just transportation.

Perfect option for a day trip to Cinque Terre from the Pisa area

Our tour with Raffaelle was awesome and he is an incredible guide! He picked us up right on time at 9am around the Pisa area and drove the approximately 90 minutes to Manarola. Along the way, he gave us the region history, pointed out interesting facts about various industrial for the area, and answered any questions we had. We were a little hesitant before the trip because we were only visiting two of the five Cinque Terre towns, and thought we might be getting a little short-change. However, that turned out to be the perfect quantity for what we wanted while keeping a relaxed schedule. We were doing a day trip to the area and was able to visit the most well-known towns and most accessible by vehicle. You will do uphill and downhill walking so wear appropriate shoes. Back to Raffaelle. He gave us great instructions and found the right amount of being with us and letting us explore. He showed up at the right time and helped guide us to the best picture locations. We requested a lunch reservation and he came through with flying colors. The restaurant he chose was nice, open-air, and the food was delicious! He brought us to a point outside of Cinque Terre that one could not get to if you were taking the train (unless you hiked up a very long road). Raffaelle had us back in the time we requested. The price for the tour was very reasonable, and even more so if you have other couples with you to split the cost. Will definitely look up this tour group and request Raffaelle the next time we're in the area for a tour (note they do other tours including that of the famous marble quarries/foundries in the area).

Our tour guides Tommaso and Raffaele were friendly, personable, prompt, and professional. Tommaso communicated with me frequently leading up to the tour and answered all my questions in advance. On the day of the tour, they arrived promptly with two beautiful, air-conditioned vans for our group of 11 people. On the way to Cinque Terre, they shared lots of interesting information about the area, and when we arrived at our destination, they knew exactly how to navigate the towns so we got the best experience we could’ve hoped for. These guys are wonderful! Highly recommend.
