Antonio and Jessica went out of the way to pick us up. I wanted a later pickup and some adjustments to the itinerary and they were readily accommodating. Antonio brought us a nice SUV for the 3 of us and we drove to Paracas. Jessica was great in explaining the events, names and other history of the places we are about to visit. We arrived at Paracas and there was a boat waiting for us to take us to the Ballestos Bird Sanctuary. Even though the bird sanctuary wasn't that great and guides from the boat company didn't translate anything in English it was a worthwhile trip to see the penguins walking up the rock face. Post that we went to Pisco tasting and lunch. Lunch was excellent and tasting event was shortened due to our request. Then we drove to Huacachina and rented a dune buggy for just the two of us. Juan the driver immediately developed a great rapport with us and he took us to a prime spot to do surfboarding and to watch the sunset. He volunteered along with Antonio and Jessica and took a lot of pictures of us surfing and riding the buggy. After that, the ride back to the hotel was 3 hours or so. Highly highly recommend this tour and the service plus arrangements were ideal. Even though it was a long day and we were tired after several days spent in Cusco and vicinity, this tour was a great final touch.
