We did this trip with a group of 8 and I cannot recommend it enough!! The scenery is stunning at the islands, we got lucky with a beautiful day. Beyond that Huacachina dune buggies were the highlight. The tour was super inclusive for me as a plus size woman so it was nice being able to participate in all of the activities! Definitely recommend bringing sunscreen and extra cash as you will need to pay some local taxes the day of.
The pickup was on time and very well coordinated. One of the best activities with a boat ride around the island with incredible views and the chance to learn about the different bird species. The high‑adrenaline ride across the sand and the opportunity to slide down the sand slope were the highlights of the trip. It’s truly a once‑in‑a‑lifetime experience.
Kinda sucked tbh.
Take a bus and go without the tour for a day or two instead of squeezing a bunch of mediocre activities into one big day. Still go here and go sandboarding, just book the sandboarding separate and skip this.
If I was to do this again, I would skip ballestas island. The boat ride around the island to see the animals was only about 15 minutes. I highly recommend Huacachina. Due to logistic mishap, we were picked up at 420am and didn’t get back to the hotel until 1230am instead of the original estimate of 11-1130pm
This was my second tour with Viator to Paracas and Huacachina and both were exceptional tours. Oswaldo was our tour guide this trip and he was very organized, a great communicator and attentive to the little details. We were picked up at our hotel at the assigned time, the boat tour to the Islas Ballestas was comfortable and informative, our lunch at the Cultur Pisco Winery was delicious and the buggy ride and sandboarding in Huacachina was an exhilarating experience! We really enjoyed the diversity of the 3 experiences in this package. Although a long full day, it's worth it!

This full day trip to Ica and Paracas etc was absolutely awesome!! We had much fun with photos and we were well taken care of with delicious breakfast and lunch! Guide Lorenzo was such a great tour guide and very patient and well organized. I 💯 recommend!
Good tour, but its long, so make sure you are prepared with water, snacks, extra battery pack. The best part is the desert and buggy.
The tour guide is nice.
I like the island visiting.
And do not miss the oasis and the amazing dessert.
The activities we did were perfect! A very very packed day! However, it was hard to enjoy it because of the amount of driving we did in the most uncomfortable bus imaginable. It was impossible to sleep to regain any energy for appreciating the sights. I am happy I did it but if I had the choice over again, I would have driven myself and just done less.
Full experience from 4am pick up to 11pm drop off. That is about 18hours of activities. Well organised from start to finish. Davi is good!!
Excellent tour, great tour guide, spoke English and Spanish, highlight was the sand dunes, must see must do while in Lima, just prepare for long day but it is worth every minute of it

It was a poor tour sadly. Our guide was shocking. The 3 hour journey there he pulled a hat down over his head, put ear plugs in, sunglasses on and snored!.
We arrived in Paracas and were taken to a very average place for breakfast, then hung around with no direction for approximately 2 hours before getting on the boat. The boat trip was good 😊
We then were ushered back into the van for another hour (he again went to sleep) to go for lunch and Pisco tasting.. It felt like a completely tourist and commercial tick box experience that had no value or content.
Then back on the bus to travel to Huacachina Oasis.. (lower any expectations you may have here) . Again we were left by a dopey, disinterested guide to wander around for an hour and a half before walking up a huge sand dune for buggy driving.
The landscape was interesting and the sand buggy driving was unreal. It was not for the faint hearted. Prepare to be terrified. That said it was a very real experience and the driver was undoubtedly skilful . We stopped plenty of times for photo opportunities that allowed for all to have plenty of time to take any pictures they wanted.
Then back down for a 4 plus hour journey home , once again with the guide checking out and sleeping all the way back. He was appalling.
The whole tour could have been done in fewer hours with just the boat and buggy, instead of a 4.30am puck up and 111pm drop off..
Despite my comments, we are not sorry we visited the two places and experienced the boat and desert. It was the waste of hours, dreadful guide and tick box additional activities that spoiled it.

We hate to be “those people,” but this excursion has issues. The islands and oasis were beautiful and the tour guide was friendly, but the description is deceiving since “1 hour in Lima, 3 hours in Paracas, and 4 hours in Huacachina” really meant 8 hours in the van, an hour for lunch, and an hour sitting around at gift shops waiting for things to start with 90 minutes at each site. We also were terrified on the dune buggy ride and were given no advance warning about the speed and risk involved or that several buggies a year actually do roll over. The guide’s English was also very limited, and so instructions were sometimes confusing and chaotic. The kicker was having some valuables lost or stolen at the dunes. All of these are partly our fault for not locking down our cash or researching more, but we were very disappointed overall. Caveat emptor!

This was an awesome experience. I went with my wife and it was like we were teens again. Starts off slow and easy but gets a bit extreme at the end! Don’t worry the tour was extremely efficient and on time! Everything is like clockwork and our guide worked in detail to translate in Spanish and English. Great tour!

Fabulous tour
1)visit Sealions, birds and Hawboldt penguins by speedboat in Paracas.
2)Visit Pisco winery/distillery/restaraunt at Culturpisco
3) Visit desert/oasis at Haucachina
The only complaint is that we booked an English tour and our guides English was quite poor. She was unable to understand/answer a number of my questions and we felt awkward at lunch as she spoke Spanish to one of the (bilingual) tour group members beside us for the entire meal.

This really is a must-do experience for when you are staying in Lima.
The pickup and dropoff was just as advertised. We got picked up from our hotel in Miraflores around 4am and dropped off around 11pm.
The buses are nice. Nothing super fancy but the seats are comfy and roomy enough to sleep in, and they have AC.
Our guide Jordan was great. He was very knowledgeable and educated us on each leg of the trip. He was clear with instructions and when/where to meet each time we went to a new place. He kept everything on time and was funny and easy to talk to. Jordan es mi amigo!
My favorite part of the trip was the dune buggy/sand-boarding in Huacachina. The oasis is beautiful and the sunset was amazing. That said, the boat ride/Ballestas islands and the Isco tasting was also perfect.
It is definitely a long day, so just be prepared to get to sleep early the night before. I’d suggest having some snacks packed (or buying something on one of the stops). Being a jacket but also (depending on time of year) be prepared for hot weather in Huacachina. I started with long sleeves and a light jacket (needed for boat ride) but then changed into short sleeves when we went for the Pisco tasting.
Again, if you have more than 1 day in Lima, this is a must-do activity/tour. You’ll be tired by the end of the day, but it’s well worth it to have this experience and create memories that will last forever.

Great experience for a great price. We have to pay out of pocket for breatkfast and lunch but it was acceptable and both places they took us are nice.
Well organized, perfect communication! Jose Antonio, our guide, was very attentive, he was fast to learn the names of the people in the group and made our day enjoyable and worry-free. Buggy driver (Rodrigo?) was the best as well! In addition, we were contacted by other people from Inca Trilogy Tour and were able to give instant feedback from the start of thw trip. It was unforgettable experience, perfect start to our Peru trip. Highly recommended!

Our 6 yr old enjoyed Paracas boat tour to see sea lions, although we didnt see many penguins
Haucachina buggy ride over dunes was little too intense for our daughter but then we requested the driver to tske it easy and held on tight to her and dhe started enjoying the return journey

The experience was outstanding partly due to the people on the tour and the way the drink brought people together. The pick-up and drop-off was prompt. The guide took a while to warm up and it would have been nice to have an introduction of travellers earlier on in the tour. The tour starts slowly with the first event being a ride to a cafe for breakfast. Once you get on the boat for photos of animals it begins to get going. The lunch and pisco tasting is when you get to meet with travellers better. The pisco tasting was perfect and was enjoyed by all. The lady giving the tasting tour was infectious with her enthusiasm and passion. The oasis was magical and the buggy ride was terrifying for those with a nervous disposition. However, it was fun in a scary way. The views and sunset pictures are magical. The guide as mentioned took a while to warm up to the group and special thanks are due to Lucas a traveller from Texas for bringing the group together. Overall despite the slow start, it was a magical experience and highly recommended.

A jam-packed day that was great during all three parts. The bus rides were long, 3-hours in the morning, and 4 back at night, but the driver was good and the coach comfortable.
awesome experience if it wasn't for the last stop at the highway shop (Chincha). We took the tour because we're getting married with my GF (who's french) and I'm actually impressed by the quality of the service (globally speaking). Never the less, I think that they could have proposed to stop somewhere else (speaking of the highway) because as a local I know that the products sold where not even close to anything "quality" (in my opinion it's a scam for tourists).

This tour is so much more than it's being offered! By that I mean, there is so much experience that you'll forget you only paid for $100 per head. It's a bummer we haven't tried the Ballestas Island due to bad weather but for sure it was worth the value! They had a lot to offer more than the Ballestas: breakfast&dinner and wine tasting in El Catador, Dune Buggy in Huacachina. It was the best trip ender for us!!! JAVIER was our tour guide and he didn't left us hanging. In our group, most can understand Spanish. I was only able to understand a few Spanish words here and there but JAVIER was there to translate for us every single time. We had an amazing time! Especially in Huacachina where we got to experience dune buggy included in our tour! It was an absolute roller coaster ride. We forgot about the time while flying drone in Huacachina desert and JAVIER was waiting for us at the base of the dunes. It was such a great experience I would recommend to everyone! If we could just stay at Huacachina for even one night, we would. But we didn't have time and if that's also you, I would just take a day tour and I definitely recommend this to you!!! 5-stars!!!
