Perfect introduction to Miraflores Lima!

Arturo gave us a wonderful walking tour of Miraflores and the Surquillo Market. He was very friendly, knowledgeable and tailored the tour to our interests. He included many cultural topics and local recommendations as he showed us the local highlights. We highly recommend this tour.

An excpetional tour with tons of personal flourishes

The guide, Arturo, is a real Renaissance guy - knowledgeable about so many subjects, in a natural-born story teller sort of way. The Church at the meeting spot is incredibly impressive and the abutting Cat-Park is an interesting slice into the verve and style of Lima. Off to a good start. While there was an established itinerary, this tour also was a bit freestyle - first stop turned out to be a cozy coffee shop for a little history and sample of Peruvian coffee -- included. The market stop was a nice choice - it's a far smaller, less frenetic neighborhood market with little restaurants dotting each side. Not part of the tourist loop for sure, and 100% worth the visit. There is a good bit of light & healthy walking along the ocean, amidst loads of green space, art, and cute parks. Anyway, I promised Arturo I'd write a good review, as he's new to this and it's his company, just getting started... but he absolutely deserves this genuine sincerity - for the easy flow, full slice of Lima, natural "locals" kind of experience he has curated.
