This was a well coordinated trip including interesting sites. You’ll need WhatsApp to communicate with your team. The guides were prompt, courteous, enthusiastic, and knowledgeable. Advisable to arrive a day early and take it easy to adjust to the altitude in Cusco. We would have liked one more day in Urubamba added to the end after Machu Picchu before returning home.

The tour company is organized, efficient, and reliable. Once landed in Lima, they had staff waiting for us and transferred us to a hotel. They provided detailed instructions on the way to the hotel and every day for the next day's plan. Their guides are experienced and friendly. Our arrival flight was delayed and they were flexible to modify our itinerary to make it work. I highly recommend this company!

The weather in Lima was great, dry and cool. But remember that unless you are in a nice hotel, there will be no heating or air conditioning. I almost froze the first night because 58 degrees is not warm enough to sleep without either heat or extra blankets. This is not an escorted tour. So I had a different guide for each tour. No one person was available to check in with which was inconvenient. But the agency worked very closely with the assigned hotels, leaving me a message about what time I would be picked up each day. And the tour vans were VERY prompt. Luckily for me I was never grouped with more than 9 other people. Once I had a guide all to myself. There is a lot of free time. Also, expect to begin tours early (ex. to Machu Picchu at 5:30 a.m.) You must book and pay for your own airline travel from Lima to Cusco and back. So watch the times. If your flight leaves really early, you may have to get ready by 3 a.m. Cusco is much colder than Lima. So pack so you can layer for temperatures from 30's to 70's. Most of the time the guides spoke pretty good English. Be insistent if they slip into Spanish with some fellow tourists.
