We had a wonderful time making perogis! I feel like I could easily make them at home in different variations. The instructor was great and the place was comfortable. It never felt rushed. I am a little disappointed that we never received an email with the recipes as we were told we would but I am still happy with the experience!

I contacted the tour guide early in the morning on the day of tour to inform them that our flight got cancelled and we were unable to attend. I sent proof of the canceled flight as well as proof of the rebook of the flight to show we wouldn't make it. we asked to do another day and explained we were only here now for 24 hours. the tour side NEVER responded. I called and emailed multiple times. I contacted viator who said we had to wait for the tour guide to respond before they can determine if we were able to reschedule or get our money back. Apparently the tour guide responded to viator that all sales are final and never responded to us. Clearly have no sympathy and it's all about making money. They don't care about you, just the money you are paying. Find another tour that actually appreciates it, there are plenty. I seriously can't wait for the BS response we get back of how "sorry" they are or how they tried which none is the case. I have added pictures of the many emails i sent with no response.

I have reported the review as a false accusation that harms our honest business. You contacted us 3 hours before the class was scheduled, informing us that your flight was canceled and that you were unable to join on any other day as you were flying out first thing in the morning. You then requested a refund twice, and we responded both times, explaining why your request was denied. Our cancellation policy requires notice at least 24 hours before the class begins (not "all sales final"). Preparation for the class takes hours and we are unable to issue a refund just 3 hours before the scheduled time. We care deeply not only about our customers but also about the venues and employees with whom we have long-standing, respectful relationships.
If your flight was canceled, you should contact the airline and submit any reservations or tickets that were affected by the cancellation to request reimbursement from them. We are unable to take responsibility for how customers plan their itinerary and cannot issue refunds if there is a cancellation or delay that prevents them from arriving on time. You should take this into consideration when booking the class and agreeing to the 24-hour cancellation policy.

Had a great rime and well worth it! The teacher made the process simple and explained the instructions clearly. It was not rushed, and a very enjoyable experience. Also, a great recipe to take back home.

Last full day of vacation I got a message at 1100 asking if we could reschedule or if not it would be worked with. I replied that the other suggested reschedule dates wouldn’t work because we were leaving the next day. The cooking class started in the late afternoon so no other tours could be scheduled that day due to the start time of the cooking class. I didn’t get a reply to my message until we were getting ready to leave for the class (a few km walk outside of town). 2.5 hours before the start time I got a message saying it was being canceled because there was a private event at the restaurant. Then they called and said because only 2 people signed up it was being canceled. Then they tried to sell me another event that was apparently more profitable for them. The local vendor blamed Viator for late notice (but they didn’t cancel when they sent the original note at 1100 only later in the day after 1420 (2:20 pm). I contacted Viator and they blamed the local vendor. The local vendor blamed Viator…. Both wasted my last day of vacation and waited until it was too late to schedule anything else. Then tried to sell me something else …. I’ll never use Viator again. I recommend no one else use them if this is how they handle problems. I was also told I wouldn’t get a refund for 5-7 days…. The whole situation was unacceptable. No one ever took accountability. This probably won’t be posted as both the vendor and Viator said it wasn’t their problem…
Don’t trust your time to this company. Had they cancelled on the original message I could have salvaged the day.. waiting until 2:21 pm for a 5pm start time is unacceptable. Then give excuse after excuse and change the reason for cancel. Viator said they have no way to hold the vendor accountable or show the type of problem… Don’t use Viator !

We received your booking the evening before the class was supposed to start and worked all the next day to make it happen. However, the venue where we organize the class was not available. In response, we offered you a Food Tour with a 50% discount, but you declined. We had a large group and recently booked this class. Prior to the class, we emailed the company and made the total number of attendees very clear since we need to add more people than the reservation would allow us to do online. We received a confirmation that the extra people would be accommodated, and we paid for them in cash at the beginning of class. In spite of this, the instructor was not prepared for the additional people and mentioned multiple times that she did not know the total number of people that would be attending. She told us she did not have enough ingredients so several people had to share bowls and periogi fillings. She also told us that because of the large number of people, we may be making less food since we would have less time to cook it. In the end, we were able to make our pierogies and enjoy them, but the experience was ruined because the instructor simply didn’t seem to be prepared for us and we got the impression that we were adding an additional burden. This is unfortunate, because I have booked several Viator tours in the past and I’ve always had a wonderful experience.

Thank you for sharing your experience and providing us with feedback. We sincerely apologize for any misunderstanding that occurred during your recent class booking. Initially, you booked the class for six people and later requested to add one more participant, your five-year-old child. We accommodated this request and agreed to accept cash payment for the additional participant, as it was not done online.
Our classes are typically designed for participants to work in pairs, with each station prepared accordingly (sharing the bowls with ingredients, sharing the dough etc.). The instructor suggested pairing the adults in your group with the children to supervise, especially due to the use of hot water in the dough. However, it appears you preferred each child to have their own station and work alone, which deviated from our usual setup.
This difference in arrangement may have led to challenges in ingredient preparation and overall workflow during the class. The instructor's concern about individual workstations affecting the amount of food produced was likely due to the significant increase in pierogi quantity per person, which may have resulted in excess and potential waste.
Nevertheless, we acknowledge the need for flexibility and adaptation. We did indeed make more pierogi than your group was able to consume, and unfortunately, some went uneaten and had to be discarded, which was indeed unfortunate.
Thank you for joining our class, and we apologize for any misunderstanding. However, the situation where we were unprepared did not occur.

The course as such is great, the teacher was very friendly has ensured a good mood, sent the recipe by mail, gave good tips. For the price, a second drink included would be good (gives only one otherwise water) and possibly a few more pirogues or varieties.
