This pierogi-making class was absolutely perfect! I learned so much, not just about how to make delicious pierogies from scratch, but also about the rich food culture of Poland. Olga is a fantastic teacher: warm, knowledgeable, and passionate. The setting was beautiful, which made the experience even more special, and everyone in the group was lovely, it felt like cooking with friends. I can’t recommend this class enough. Thank you, Olga, for an unforgettable experience!

This was such a fun class and Olga was awesome! We visited the local market before going to Olgas apartment to make pierogies. Olga was a great teacher and showed us the entire process. The pierogies were delicious and I can’t wait to try at home.

I had such a fun experience making pierogi with Olga! She shared so many interesting facts about Polish food, and we got to try some things a the market. Next, we got to go to Olga’s apartment to make the pierogi. We learned each step and had a great meal in the end! Couldn’t recommend this activity enough!

We had a wonderful experience learning how to make pierogis with Olga. She took us around the market and we learned about some of the fresh cheese products and we were able to enjoy some snacks. Her explanation for making the pierogis was great and my kids enjoyed making them as well.

It was really good. Learnt lots of details of this Polish cuisine. She took us to the market and bought the necessary ingredients importantly the cheese. Explained about the different types of cheese and the quality of cheese for paragon. A wonderful person who invited to her home and we had good snacks over there. She explained about the lard and how should we need the bread with a spread of lard and a topping of a pickle. It was really delicious
Explanation of the method was in detail and hands on was great as she taught us and whole doing she explained the dos and don't s of kneading the dough. It was new experience as I have done dumplings using different methods. It was a good technique to learn to knead the dough for the Perogi. The filling was simple and how should the potatoes to be cooked and kept and used for the filling was explained in depth. The filling was vegetarian and it will great to make them for my family and friends. Every step was explained and the the content how pierogi came to Poland was also explained
Pleating of the pierogi was simple and was easy
Boiling the pierogi and assembled well with thre toppings were excellent. Had them with the sour cream was awesome. Enjoyed with 2 others who attended the session
Thank you for the lovely day and it was best birthday gift given by my kids
Enjoyed truly. It Is a must to go for this class and I truly recommend. Thank you dear for the lovely session and your passion in cooking pierogi

Very nice experience with Olga. Shopping for ingredients and then snacks at her apartment. Then down to cooking the pierogi. She gave great advice on making the dough and stuffing. Lots of eating on this tour so don't make dinner reservations that day.

We absolutely loved our cooking and shopping experience with Olga. Our hotel was actually very close to the meeting point and she took us to the local market to pick up the snacks and cheese for the filling. Along the way Olga pointed out ingredients and things to buy after our lesson, or another day, that we can take back with us.
It was another short walk from the market to her apartment (less than 10 min), where she prepared the cheese, sausages, and pickles for us to snack on.
Olga was fantastic with every member of the family from my youngest (age 7), to my teens and us adults. Every single family member loved trying their newly learned techniques on filling the pierogies and eating them at the end.
My oldest was so thrilled with the lesson he wanted to leave his own review (but too young to sign up for Viator account), so he asked me to give the max number of stars and then some. This lesson was the highlight of our family trip to Krakow and everyone was still talking about it on the flight back.
We did go back to the market after our lesson and purchased a number of items afterwards to include a cheat pierogi mold with Olga suggested we use for making fruit pierogies in the summer.

Olga taught a wonderful class! I loved the trip to the local market to get some fresh supplies for the class followed by a walk to her home. There were a total of 4 of us in the class with plenty of room for all of us. Olga opened her home making me feel like a close friend. Overall a wonderful experience.

It started out with a timely meeting with Olga and the rest of the small group and then off to the farmer's market for some fresh ingredients for the pierogi. Olga shopped and we tasted very fresh homemade cheese and learned about the abundance of a variety of mushrooms and locally sourced fresh vegetables. Then a short walk to Olga's apartment to begin. We got to chat with each other while snacking on smoked cheese and sausage. Every step of the way was an adventure. We learned Olga's family recipe and how to form the pierogi, and of course, she set a beautiful table for us to enjoy the 100+ pierogi we made. Great conversation and a few shots of her homemade bison grass infused vodka was a treat. Overall this was a wonderful experience and highly recommended.

We had the best time with Olga, shopping for local meats and cheeses in an open air farmers market, then hands-on learning to make wonderful pierogi using her family recipe. Each person in the small class of 4 people got to experience the entire process from beginning to end. She hosted us in her charming apartment and made us feel welcome. At the conclusion we shared and ate our pierogi and got to sample polish buffalo gras infused vodka from the region. Would recommend this to anyone who likes warm comfort food.

Both my wife and I loved Olga and learned how to make Pierogi. Not only was this a cooking class, we learned much about the rich Polish Culture. The Piegogi were delicious! Would do this again in a heartbeat. Thanks Olga!

Very fun class in the home of our Instructor
We went to a local market first to purchase our supplies then onto the instructors apartment where we had snack and began our cooking class.
It was great, fun learning this Polish dish and chatting with others

We met Olga at the meeting point and heading towards the local market, we felt like locals with Olga letting us know all the details about the produce. We headed towards her beautiful flat and she gave us lots of polish snacks to try which she had just bought at the market with us, then we heading to her kitchen to start cooking. The experience was so informative and fun and we all got to make our own dough, roll dough and make the pierogi. We didn’t miss out on one step! Olga is incredible friendly and kind and a great teacher! Couldn’t recommend this experience enough.

Having attended a pieta class in Madrid previously, I knew that my spouse would really enjoy this pierogie class, & it did not disappoint! Olga is the perfect host. Enjoyed visiting market to buy food, then off to her apartment where she had local snacks & vodka for our group. As a mix-up occurred regarding tour date because booked date fell on a religious holiday, so Olga saved us sole remaining spot on previous day & I altered our itinerary to accommodate. Highly recommended; you will enjoy this immensely as we did. Thanks, Olga!
Ronda_K, Oct 2025
Olga is a great host and teacher! She truly wants you to learn how to make pierogi yourself. Then you can share your new found knowledge with your family and friends back home. Definitely try to find time to do this activity while in Krakow!

Olga was a warm and knowledgeable host and pierogi cooking instructor. Before pur class, she guided us on a tour of the local market and purchased fresh cheese for our pierogi and for snacks prior to our cooking class.
After the market, we walked to her apartment and got acquainted with other participants in our class. The class itself was very good. I learned a lot about rolling dough to the proper consistency, filling and cooking the pierogi. We enjoyed the most delicious pierogi together after the class.

Olga was fantastic. We had a lovely and informative tour of the local market, then made pierogis at her flat. Her flat was very clean and welcoming. She had a delicious snack waiting for us. The pierogi making was so fun! She not only gave us her history of making pierogis with her family, but an informative lesson of the history of Krakow. She gave us tips on places to visit and restaurants to eat at. It was a great way to start our visit to Krakow. Thanks, Olga!
