We had a wonderful experience shopping in the local market for ingredients, learning how to order in Polish, preparing the Pierogis and enjoying what we prepared with our host, Magada. Magada was delightful, engaging and someone who welcomed us and made us feel very much at home. We could not recommend this more highly-a definite 5 star experience.

I attended the pierogi making class with my sister and we both thoroughly enjoyed the experience. We met our guide Kasia and went to the local market to shop for ingredients before heading to her home to make pierogies. I'm a novice cook, but even I was able to make some delicious tasting Polish treats! Kasia shared her recipe and I look forward to making them at home.

The class one of the highlights of our trip. Paula met us on time at the appointed location and took us to the local market. Then she taught us how to use local transportation to get to her apartment. The class maxes out at 6 people. Paula's English was great. Paula did an excellent job having us make the pierogis and treating us to local snacks. When the class was over, she made sure we all got to where we needed to go. If you want to get truly immersed in the Polish culture, I would highly recommend the class.

Superb afternoon! Magdalena was an absolute delight. She guided us through the farmers market and even challenged us to purchase our ingredients in Polish, which made the experience both fun and memorable.
We then went to her home, where she shared her family recipe and cooking techniques. Along the way, we enjoyed delicious locally made appetizers and beer while preparing our pierogi.
Magdalena made the entire experience engaging and enjoyable, filling it with stories about her family and the history of Kraków. If you’re looking for a delightful and flavorful adventure, I highly recommend this tour—be sure to ask for Magdalena!

Very personal. We went to Paula’s apartment. Went to local farmers market to buy ingredients first.
Had some appetizers, then went made the periodic, ate them with beer and then had 2 different desserts.

Kasia was an exceptional host! We have experienced cooking classes in several countries and Kasia’s was the best by far! She’s charming and talented with her approach towards making it unforgettable! We loved the market trip and the lessons in the language. Kasia opened her home to us and explained every step of the cooking process. We had the pleasure of meeting her cat (another highlight) who was as much of a joy to hang out with as Kasia! This is a must-do experience in Krakow!

Tour was excellent!!!! Kasia, our guide was AMAZING and was so warm and inviting. The tour started at the market where we learned some polish words before we shopped. After we shopped the local market we proceeded to Kasia's apartment were we had snacks (cheese/pickles/cabbage/beer etc) and then learned how to prepare and make the pierogi's. Afterwards we had some yummy cake. It was so great to have the class take place in her apartment. It was nice to see and experience how a local lives. Our guide answered all sorts of questions about polish customs and culture and has two absolutely adorable cats. The food was excellent and the tour was lots of fun. Great way to spend the morning.

Absolutely incredible authentic experience. Get to check out a local farmers market with Alicja who is very knowledgeable about food and then proceed to have a great time learning the basics of perogies. I feel after this experience I have the confidence to make them at home in Canada.

This was a very fun and authentic experience. It started in the market where all ingredients were purchased. The host (Kasia) taught the people in the group how to say the words in Polish so they could order the necessary food at the market. The actual cooking was done in Kasia's home (had to take a taxi to her house which was included in the price of the tour). She provided snacks/drinks. The pierogis tasted amazing and recipe was emailed to the group. My family of 4 all agreed this was a highlight of our week in Poland!

Wonderful experience, Agata was very sweet and helped put our food orders in the market in Polish language. Lots of smiles as we tried our best. We traveled to Agata's home and started by getting to know each other over some local beer and food we purchased at the market. Then our pierogi class began. We had step by step help as we made our pierogies and I am completely confident we will be able to do this on our own when we return home. Cannot thank Agata enough for a MOST WONDERFUL DAY!!!

This was such a fun local experience!!! We had such a great time getting to know our host Dominika and learning how to make pierogi.
We started the day off by visiting a local market to pick up fresh ingredients. Dominika taught us how to say the ingredients in Polish and allowed us to try ordering them at the stand. Once we picked everything up, we hopped on the tram to her apartment.
We were able to try a few local snacks before starting the cooking process. We learned to make the pasta and the inside filling of the pierogis. Once they were assembled and cooked, we sat down to enjoy the meal and conversation with the host. Before we left, Dominika gave us some local recommendations so that we could visit the area around her apartment.
This is a great small group experience and was such a cool opportunity to see more of the “local” experience. Not to mention that the pierogi was DELICIOUS! Our host was so friendly and welcoming and really enjoyed getting to visit the area around her apartment.
I would highly recommend booking this if you have the time in Krakow!

What a fun and unexpected day. We met at designated time and place and walked to an amazing outdoor market. I was twilight how to pronounce our ingredients in Polish so that I could order from the merchants in the stalls. Then a quick ride back to Katarzyna’s home where she made us appetizers (that we had purchased) as well as some cold polish beer. Not only did we learn how to make wonderful perogies, we ate them as well! There was even traditional polish dessert before she sent us back to our hotel. Everything I mentioned, even the uber back, was included in the price. And it is always a treat to spend time with people who live in the place you are visiting.

Kate is a great teacher and hostess. We went to the old market and bought ingredients for the dumplings then took a taxi to her apartment. There were 4 in our group and we all took turns making the pierogis. Quite fun and I believe I learned enough to make them when I get home and that was my goal!!
