This was a private tour and well worth paying the extra. Our driver was very knowledgable and gave us lots of information on the way. Very comfortable clean vehicle. Our guide around Auschwitz-Birkenau was superb and because we were such a small group of 3 we were able to get so much information. Also avoided the queues. I would recommend this tour.

A colleague and I took a private tour with Alicja and I would highly recommend her service. She was on time, professional and really knowledgeable about the area and its history. We had a lot of questions for her and she answered them all in great detail and enthusiasm. She also brought us snacks and took us to a cafe where she recommended local specialties which we very much appreciated. She also added stops to the tour that we asked for and you can easily work with her to modify what you'd like to see and where you'd like to spend time. We picked up a number of books at the bookstore in Auschwitz-Birkenau which she recommended and they've been excellent (and would have been hard to find at home). Wonderful, though understandably difficult visit and I've already recommended her to a friend who will be in Krakow in August.

What a great experience! Alicja picked us up at the hotel in the morning and took the entire day explaining European history, WWII, Auschwitz I and II and then to Krakow for history and food. She supplied snacks and water as well. It was absolutely incredible how much she knows down to the exact date, and reasons for historical occurrence. We got to know her as an individual too, she is very intelligent and speaks several languages from Polish, Russian, English, and Spanish (probably some more I don't know about as well). She can drive around Poland for hours and tell you anything. Book a tour, tell her what you want to see, and then get ready to learn!

We had a wonderful time with Alicja! She is a powerwoman! Thanks to her advice of leaving as early as possible (for us 6.30 am) we arrived at Auschwitz before the big crowds. During the drive we got an extensive history lesson ;) about Poland, communisme, the end of communism etc. Alicja is so knowledgeable about Polands history, unbelievable! She handed us over to a guide from Auschwitz as private guides are not allowed to do tours at the concentration camp. Evelyn was ok but you felt that this was a job for her, we got headphones to hear her better, which turned out to be good. Although she was our private guide for the three of us, she kept on walking talking through the headset, and it felt kind of listening to someone reading a book, detached, which was a pity because I don’t think you can talk about Auschwitz and what happened there in a monotonous tone. But this wasn’t Alicjas fault of course, you get a guide, you cannot choose one. After the tours in Auschwitz and Birkenau Alicja took us to a wonderful restaurant for a polish lunch and explained what we were eating, how things were made, why they are important in Poland. After lunch, she took us to the old Jewish quarter of Krakow where we did a 1,5 hour tour. Very nice neighborhood! All in all we had a great time with Alicja and we can only recommend her for this trip!

This tour has it all: Premium transportation to all attractions. The guide was local, extremely knowledgeable, had intimate knowledge of the area and was very personable. Not mono-toned and overly rehearsed like so many other tours. The lunch provided was at a old traditional and unique restaurant. Fantastic. What I liked so much about this tour was the guide was no a clock watcher. We were given ample time to view all the venues. It was almost like the tour was designed around our wants and needs. In addition, there were some other little tid-bits added, that were not on the listing, but I won’t ruin it and tell you about them. Over all, this tour is everything you would expect and much much more......

Great experience. Had one day in the area and was able to accomplish a tremendous amount, all first class! Was able to skip the lines - tour guide was amazing and very knowledgeable. Local tour guide was well spoken, educated, and very flexible. Would highly recommend.

This tour was amazing. Alijca was so lovely and thoughtful. I have MS so it was important to me that the trip was carried out at my pace. Alijca did exactly that. I would certainly do this again. Ich hatte extra diese Tour gebucht gehabt, auch anhand der sehr guten Rezensionen und was soll ich sagen, im Grunde 6 Sterne anstatt 5. Ist diese Tour Ihr Geld wert oder ist es zu teuer, das muss jeder für sich selbst ausmachen aber ich habe es gern bezahlt, ich habe genau das bekommen was in der Beschreibung steht und noch einiges mehr. Fangen wir an, die Kommunikation ging per WhatsApp direkt mit sofortiger Antwort von Alicja. Uhrzeit wurde zur Abholung abgeklärt und was soll ich sagen, Alicja war genau zur abgesprochenen Uhrzeit da um uns abzuholen. Mit Ihrer S-Klasse ging es dann direkt nach Auschwitz und dort wurden wir freundlich von unserem Gide empfangen. Wie andere Gruppen von 10-20 Personen, konnten wir zu Zweit mit unserem Gide, uns viel besser auf das bevorstehende konzentrieren. Unser Gide hat uns alles in Ruhe und ausführlich erklärt und uns auch ruhige Momente gegeben, ohne Zeitdruck und das war uns sehr wichtig gewesen. Auch war unser Gide eine so warmherzige Person gewesen, mit unwahrscheinlich viel Fachwissen, wir waren so froh diesen Menschen an unserer Seite zu haben. Über Auschwitz möchte ich keine Worte hier verlieren, zu grausam sind diese Dinge die dort passiert sind, wie Menschen so etwas tun können, es gibt keine Worte für diese schrecklichen Taten. Wo wir fertig waren mit unseren Gide wurden wir von Alicja in Empfang genommen und es wurden uns noch außerplanmäßig Dinge gezeigt, das war großartig gewesen. Wo wir in Krakau dann angekommen waren, ging es zum Abendessen mit Alicja, was für ein tolles Restaurant, das Essen und die Gastfreundschaft waren absolut Top gewesen. Nach dem Essen ging es mit einer Überraschung weiter, ein weiterer Gide empfing uns zusammen und wir machten einen schöne Tour durch Krakau, jüdisches Virtel und die Schindler Passage zum gleichnamigen Film. Wo wir diese Tour beendet hatten, fuhr uns Alicja zurück zum Hotel und unser Tag ging zu Ende. War der Preis nun gerechtfertigt, ja, in allen Punkten ja, vielen vielen Dank geht an Alicja, die uns einen wundervollen Tag gegeben hat, mit sehr schmerzhaften Eindrücken in Auschwitz aber mit weiteren wundervollen Eindrücken und Möglichkeiten in Krakau.
