ガイドのタメルさんは「ここはトルコ、リラックス！」と言っていつも私たちを和ませてくれました。これは何？なぜ？と矢継ぎ早に聞いても一つ一つ丁寧に答えてくれました。特に素晴らしいのは、ピクニックを楽しまれていた家族の中にタメルの通訳で仲間に入れてもらったり、市場の喫茶店で地元の人と一緒にお茶を飲んだりと交流することができたことです。オプショナルツアーで参加したナイトショーでは素敵なベリーダンスをみるだけでなく、途中で私も踊りの輪に入れてもらったり、カッパドキアでのトレッキングツアーで、奇岩の中を一生懸命歩き、急に開けた絶景と途中で採った桑の実の甘い味にとただ感動でした。このツアーは、現地を充分時間をとって見学させてもらえる分、飛行機の時刻が遅く、ホテル到着が深夜となったりと少々ハードスケジュールでした。ホテルはどこも綺麗で朝食も美味しく、申し分ないところばかりでした。あえて希望を申し上げるとバスタブのあるホテルがあればいいなとは思いました。タメルさんのガイドのおかげで、トルコを深く知ることができ、大好きになりました。タメルさん、ドライバーさんありがとう。
