The tour and the food and the guide was good but the transportation from airport to cappadocia and the way back was unnecessary high speed and dangerous

Really had a wonderful time and great experience. From the moment I booked the tour, I was in constant contact with the agency. The tour itself was wonderful with just the right amount of time spent at each venue. The guides were well informed and added value to the entire tour.

The best part was the balloon ride but unfortunately the accommodation was well below average. There was nowhere to have dinner and breakfast was at another hotel. Stay away from Urgup Evi cave hotel. Our tour guide was amazing. Knowledgeable, prompt and a great leader.

I highly recommend a tour...

I highly recommend a tour in Cappadocia. Cappadocia is super well organised, one can arrange everything with a Goreme-based tour agency without using a Istanbul organiser. Basically everything was very good locally, but I had some problems and the overall organiser was barely reachable, all time I had to write and call several times.

Not worth the price, not upfront

A lot of confusion with scheduling, incomplete tours, not being transparent about the status of balloon flights (no warning that for several days, the flights have been canceled for bad weather and it was not looking good) and significantly more expensive than what others on the same tour paid. They asked me to get ready for pickup by 4:10 am but ended up being picked up at 5:30 am. The tour already started at 10am and the flight they booked for me did not allow me to join the tour on time. Multiple items in the published itinerary were skipped/missed. Others on the same tour were offered significantly cheaper rates. The operator of this tour never informed me that for the last few days balloon flights have been canceled. This is the main reason for my trip. The people/staff in the tour were nice though. I recommend others to look for a better alternative. The other tourists I met booked their tour directly from travel agents in Istanbul. This one from Viator is significantly more expensive.

As explained before the tour, balloon flights in Cappadocia are strictly dependent on weather conditions and government approval, and unfortunately all flights were canceled during that period for safety reasons. The balloon fee was fully refunded. Regarding scheduling, your pickup and flight timing were adjusted due to a flight delay in order to help you join the tour as smoothly as possible. Our local team assisted you upon arrival so you could continue with the program. According to our records and the guide’s report, the scheduled sightseeing was completed as planned. Tour prices are fixed based on the package booked. Bookings made through third-party platforms may include additional platform service fees, which are set by those platforms and not by us.
