For Private Class: we are offering the free pick up and drop off from hotels in Hanoi center

My fiancée and I had the privilege—and a bit of luck—to be the only two participants in this cooking class (though it typically accommodates up to 10 people). The experience felt incredibly personal and immersive. Our host, Cherry, was fantastic. She’s a university student with a deep knowledge of Vietnamese cuisine and culture. She guided us through a local market, explaining how it operates and introducing us to a variety of ingredients. We also had the chance to sample several house-made Vietnamese wines, which was a unique and fun touch. Back at the lovely home where the class was held, Cherry taught us how to make traditional dishes like spring rolls and egg coffee, along with other Vietnamese specialties. Her teaching style was clear, engaging, and hands-on. Transportation to and from our hotel was included, which made the whole experience seamless. Overall, we highly recommend this class to anyone looking to dive deeper into Vietnamese food and culture in a warm, welcoming setting.

We absolutely enjoyed learning about and preparing Vietnamese dishes and the differences between regional cuisines. Our chef and host, Jessie, was outstanding at keeping everyone engaged and informed while we toured the market to buy ingredients and during preparation. He was an expert in accommodating vegetarian diners in our group and also keeping two under-4 year olds occupied over 4 hours! The recipes he gave us will be put to good use when we get home. We had a dinner reservation that night and we’re so full from our daytime class we barely ordered any dinner… 😀 If we were in Hanoi for longer, we would go again.

This was such a fantastic class. Mango was a fantastic chef, so fun, so knowledgable and a great teacher. The food tasted so good, the market experience was great. I would 100% recommend doing this tour as a dinner option for a night in Hanoi.

Fantastic afternoon! Mango was such a great instructor. From getting fresh ingredients at the market to experiencing authentic Vietnamese cooking. Very clear instructions and everyone had turns doing different things. Will definitely join the class again next time I am in Hanoi. Visit to a local market was eye opening. The guide explained to us how locals shop. Once we arrived at a venu, she explained to us what we are going to cook. We had total of 8 participants but she ensured we each got to experience in each process. They had enough helpers to help us at once. Food we made was tasty as well as homemade wine they let us taste with lunch. It was about 4 hours experience and the time flew so fast as we were having fun. Highly recommend for something locals to experience

I can’t recommend this experience highly enough. We learnt so much about Vietnamese food and culture. Ruby was absolutely brilliant, the venue was lovely, the market was so interesting, and the food we made was excellent. I can’t wait to try to recreate the dishes at home!
