Alfredo was very informative and knew the historical aspect of the chapel & cathedral. I recommend this tour for first timers.

Estefana is an incredibly knowledgeable tour guide, who takes you on a historical adventure throughout the ages, explaining both the history and the religious backgrounds of the iconography and artwork present in the churches, as well as describing the different engineering styles present between the two buildings.
The tour ran a little longer (2h30m), but Estefana was more concerned with giving us a good tour than rushing us along to meet a deadline, which was greatly appreciated. If you have any interest in the religious, political, and cultural history of Granada and Catholicism in Spain, this is a must-do tour!

Our guide was very informative and had a great way of relating the stories.
However the audio system wasn’t good at all. We kept losing signal and there was no backup microphone. So we missed quite a bit of the info.

Our guide was knowledgeable and we had a great experience. The tour included access to the cathedral and chapel. We were impressed with the tombs of the Catholic monarchs.

Our guide Jamie was excellent. He gave us detailed historical background about the monarchs and cultures. His information about the monuments helped us to better understand them. His background in art history showed! He was also open to questions and made a point of highlighting element we were interested in. We highly recommend this tour.

The tour was entertaining, plenty of detailed explanations about the history of Granada without being too dry. She was professional and spoke good English.
Debra_M, Mar 2024
This is a great experience. We two had a private tour with a guide who spoke good English and appreciated so much history and architecture details. It was awesome. If you can, do this. It's very worthwhile.
Daniel_G, Mar 2024

I had the same guide (Marta) that I had in the Alhambra guided tour.
Marta is excellent, she knows a lot about Spanish history, besides being nice and very professional.

Very worthwhile experience - usually just see the thing and don't fully appreciate the nuance and historical context so this was a first for me to participate in a guided tour with a local expert. A little long in parts, perhaps could have been reduced by 30 minutes for my taste, but glad to have done it.

We are staying here in Granada for an extended time and wanted to learn about the local history so we decided to take this tour to learn about the cathedral and chapel. We had Mercedes as a tour guide and she was wonderful. We brought our 6 year old child and she was so good with him. The tour was an hour and a half which was perfect for him and for us but we learned so much in that amount of time. So glad we did it!
Johan_d, Oct 2023
The guide was an amazing story teller. She created invaluable context. The chapel is much more rememberable than the cathedral.
James_O, Oct 2023
Both the Royal Palace and Cathedral were beautiful and overwhelming to view. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable about both buildings and answered any questions we had.
Robert_A, Oct 2023

David_B, Oct 2023
Cathedral tour was cancelled on the morning we showed up; guide said they’d send us the tix to go later; never did. Never replied to any of our requests for the tix on whatsapp or a partial refund, they just took the money and never wanted to deal with it. Shame on you all.
LAURENCE_B, Aug 2023
Really beautiful. This might be my favorite cathedral in the world. The guide was so knowledgeable and friendly.
