I highly recommend this tour! The timing and pacing were perfect. It takes you through the historic neighborhoods of Albaicín and Sacromonte, while stopping at stunning viewpoints along the way.
A huge thank you and shoutout to our guide, Lorena. She was incredibly passionate, knowledgeable, and well-versed in local history, architecture, and geography. You could ask her anything and always get an insightful answer.
Lorena was also extremely attentive and responsible. She constantly made sure no one was left behind and patiently warned us about uneven cobblestones and steep slopes during the evening walk. Her genuine love for the local culture and for sharing it with visitors really shone through.
It was a fantastic 2 to 2.5-hour tour that gave us a wonderful deep dive into the history and development of Granada. Don't hesitate to book it!
The guide was great. She was passionate about her city and shared much valuable information and history.
Lovely guide. Interesting and informative. Great start to our short break in Granada. I would recommend if you are a first timer in the city.
Very nice walking tour , we explored the old city with small group and it was just fun! Alex the guide was very nice
Excellent thing to do first night in Granada. Super overview of the history and chance to see key sites and orient yourself in the Alabaicin.
Where should I begin? Our guide Lorena was incredibly knowledgeable and an amazing story teller. She walked us through the tiny roads of Albaicín & Sacromonte with so much grace, charm, and sense of humor. We had teenagers in our group and the experience was one of the most memorable we’ve had in our world travels. The views, the streets charm, the golden hour, it was all so soulful. I highly recommend.
Very informative and interesting. Our guide Antonio was passionate about Granada and its history, and explained it well. Sometimes We were a bit slow up and down some of the steps but both Antonio and the rest of the party were very understanding. We thoroughly enjoyed it.
If the weather is good definitely do it..
Paula is a hugely enthusiastic and knowledgeable guide. She has so many anecdotes!
Lots of pleasant surprises with this tour. Great views, hidden history and triggers for other activities while in Granada.
Fabulous walking tour, Paula our guide was so informative and supportive of the challenging terrain, Granada is hilly! The level of knowledge she had was amazing about the history, buildings and culture. Would totally recommend.
We had an excellent tour with our guides Paloma and Alicia in two absolutely fascinating areas of Granada. We appreciated the detailed history and stories that they shared, as well as the relaxed cadence of the walk since there were lots of steps! We also appreciated learning about the playwright Lorca and his significance to the area and its residents. We highly recommend this tour and our two friendly and highly-knowledgeable guides. Thank you both! - Katie and Camye
This was a great, informational tour at the very beginning of our time at Granada. We really enjoyed our guide.
I love having a guide on these types of walks. I find it so helpful to hear about the local history, architecture, and culture from an enthusiastic, warm local Granadan.
We had a wonderful tour on our first day in Granada with our guide Lorena, who was knowledgeable and enthusiastic and offered excellent lists on local attractions (including landmarks that are free). Timing was great, too. First of all, sunset time is the best time for photograph the hills and Alhambra. Secondly, tgis tour also helped us to orient ourselves geographically, which facilitated our subsequent tours of this historic city. Highly recommend!
Highly recommended tour! A great way to spend 2.5 hours in the evening. Antonio was a great guide- amusing, considerate and passionate about the area and very engaging. We saw some wonderful views and learnt so much about the history. Our favourite tour of the holidays!
Good tour with overview of local history. Carmen was lovely and had a kind and empathetic view of the various cultures which make up Granada’s history. She also recommended a great “vocals” tapa bar we thoroughly enjoyed.
This experience should not be missed. Our guide Lorena was top notch. She was very knowledgeable, well spoken and passionate! The views were fantastic! It was a great value as well!
Interesting and beautiful the Albaicin and Sacromonte. The tour guide was amazing. She loves what she does and it reflects on the experience. We loved it! Thank you!
Carolina was funny and informative.
Great guide & we traveled at a nice pace. Hills are manageable with many stops to rest
Get ready to climb…but well worth the experience! Our guide was very knowledgeable and shared very interesting information.
Very informative tour! Enjoyed the views and the stories. Tour guide was excellent and enthusiastic. Thank you.
Our guide was so informative and patient. I have asthma and i felt like the walking was still doable. It was such a good time and the knowledge and views were gorgeous. I wish I remembered her name but she was truly wonderful.
Excellent and very informative tour. Lorena was very knowledgeable and went through the history of the area. She also took us to nice stops for taking amazing pictures. One should be prepared for 2 hours of uphill, downhill walking with steps.
Paula poured her heart into educating us about the long history of this region and showed us a video of kathak versus Flemenco and similarities to explain roots. Took us to excellent lookouts with majestic views of the alhanbra but there was enough time for questions. Highly recommend Paula and this tour
The tour was very nice, thorough and our guide Laura was very friendly! It takes ~2 hours walking, but there are multiple breaks, so it's at a good pace.
Interesting to learn about Granada’s religious transformation. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and thorough. Unfortunately, the tour was more physically demanding than anticipated when booking the tour. I have serious back issues and though, am moderately fit (as stated in the tour info). We were asked by the tour guide to sit and wait for the others for 15 minutes. The group never came back and we took a taxi home.
Wonderful walking tour of the Albaicín and Sacremonte neighborhoods in Granada. Laura, our guide, was very knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. The walk is fairly strenuous but Laura planned it well with adequate breaks to make it easier.
This tour was full of fascinating historical details, greatly enriching one’s sense of the history of Granada and its people. These facts are brought to life by our guide, Lorena (apologies if the name is not quite right), who’s a natural storyteller. As we absorbed these stories, we got to see some amazing sights from both Albaicín and Sacromonte. One of the better tours I’ve enjoyed.
Really enjoy this tour. The guid was excellent. The route was superb; we covered a lot of ground effortlessly.
Michael from Philadelphia.
Carmel was an amazing guide. So knowledgeable about both areas, giving us so much information about the rich history of both neighbourhoods. Totally enjoyed it and found it very interesting. And the sights of the Alhambra at night fall were an added bonus.
