Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing from the start. The Blands tour company’s pickup location was quite far from the ship, and approximately 75 people were waiting to check in with only one person managing the process (second person shows up later).
About 45 minutes after the scheduled start time, the first bus finally arrived, but we were unable to get on it. We were then informed that there had been an accident on the road and that another bus would not arrive for an additional 45 minutes to an hour. At that point, we asked if we could cancel and were told that we could.
Given the continued delays, taking the tour would have meant returning to the ship too close to the embarkation time, which made it impractical for us to continue.

Best part was Europa Point. It was hard to hear/understand the guide clearly. It could depend on your guides accent. Ours did a good job but she was at the front of the bus, often facing forward so, it was harder to hear/understand. Wish guides had audio that is heard throughout the bus. Still worth it.

The Rock Tour was interesting learned quite a lot about the history of the tunnels and the caves were beautiful but I was disappointed that we did only see 2 monkeys I was expecting to see a lot more when asked the tour guide was informed that we were lucky we saw any I think this needs to be highlighted as I booked this s tour especially to see the Barbary monkeys so was very disappointed paying over a £100 for this trip for 2 of us I think this needs to highlighted so if you book you know that you might not see any and then the customer can decide whether they want to book the trip.

We had a wonderful time. Our guide was a true local, his family having been in Gibraltar for generations, so he knew his material. We saw some things that were probably not on the average tour.

A bit of a cattle run but efficient, well run, entertaining driver and sufficient time at each location to enjoy. The only negative aspect was finding the meeting place. Allow an extra 10-15 min to figure out how to get up to the 2nd floor of the parkade and then a few minutes to find them hidden in SE corner. Better instructions would help.

Dear Viator Team,
We recently took the Rock of Gibraltar tour and wanted to share some feedback.
The tour itself was thorough and covered everything advertised, including the Southernmost Point, the Cave, and the Apes. Overall, we enjoyed the experience and would recommend it.
That said, a few areas could be improved. The driver would have benefited from using a microphone, as it was difficult to hear the commentary about the landmarks and history. The bus was somewhat dirty, and at one point we could smell the brakes while descending the mountain, which was a bit concerning.
We would also appreciate clearer instructions regarding the meeting point and better identification (such as visible Viator signage or names on the bus) to avoid confusion at pickup.

Bring water for drinking, wear shoes you don’t mind getting wet, check the weather and bring cash for tipping your guide.

Unfortunately this was inevitable due to a severe weather warning where the Nature reserve was completely closed as seen unsafe due to the gale force winds.

We found the stops a bit short to do the visited attractions properly.
Since there was rain on hilly pavement the vehicles tires spun causing concern among the passengers. We were able to mingle with the macaques, Wartime tunnels were very impressive and the Blue Cave was spectacular but be aware it is dimly lit for walking.

Our tour guide, Douglas, was excellent. He was a long time resident of Gibraltar and shared his insight with us. My only regret was that the tour we chose did not go into the Rock tunnels but that was my fault.

For limited time, this is a very good tour. We hit several spots spending between 20-30 minutes at each. Europa point was hampered by hazy conditions, but that is the luck of the draw. St. Michaels cave was beautiful Be sure to look for the angel and wait for the light show on it - it is stunning!!! Monkeys everywhere - no need to do an extra monkey tour - they are quite docile and let you get close for photos. SOme people were feeding them and ttaking pics as the monkeys would crawl onto them, but this did not seem like the best idea to me. Our driver was quite knowledgeable, but kind of scary as a driver!, Meetin point a few minute walk from the main street for shopping and the bus station has snacks and a bathroom.

Superbly organised, excellent and accessible meeting point. Our tour guide, David, was incredible and made everyone feel comfortable. Great sense of humour and moved everyone from each attraction to the next without feeling rushed around.
You get to keep the nature reserve ticket when you get dropped and we used it again that day to go to the sky walk and then only had to pay for the cable car.
Highly recommend using this company to book this.

I use the app to find the location of this tour but these clowns don’t tell you that the pin point on Google maps takes you to the outside of the car parking building. Nobody in sight. No signs for Viator tours. Eventually we find out the meeting point is on the 2nd floor of the parking lot.
That would have been good to know from day one not having that information hidden in an email with the ticket sent to me the day before.
We missed our tour by about 3 minutes.
Luckily we were accommodated on another tour two hours later.
We travel lots and have done dozens of tours and this is the first time we have come across this level of stupidity,

A short but efficient tour - you don't need much more than this. We couldn't really hear the guide from the back of the bus. Someone should give her a microphone or she should at least face the passengers. She was either looking at the driver or to the front the entire time.

Viator is really useless. My tour was cancelled at the very last possible minute leaving me totally shutout. Viator just passes things along without serving any constructive service. If they really wanted to be useful to protect its clients they should provide a service that in a case such as mine they secure another tour with another operator. Instead they do nothing, shrug their shoulders, blame the tour operator and refund your money. I only had one day and one chance to see The Rock. I was lucky I found an independent operator advertising on the Main Street who took up a small group to see Thr Rock. I have been a client of Viator for nearly ten years with many tours but I doubt I will use them again.

We really enjoyed this excursion much more than we thought we would. I wish I could remember our guy’s name, but he was absolutely fantastic and was born and raised in Gibraltar. The monkeys were so friendly the day we visited and we got lots of great photos.

Great trip and easy way to see expansive views of the area. The cave was impreasive as well as the fun monkeys. Drivers are excellent, but go with the knowledge that the road is narrow and may make some with a fear of heights nervous. That being said even those folks did great!

We left 15 minutes late. Representatives never explained or apologized until someone asked. Then, no apologies. We just stood there watching others leave.
Driver, David, was great. Really navigated the roads which were pretty scary. He was really cute and funny with the apes. And very kind to the elderly disabled couple.
I didn't see the "Run By" section on my paper, and was confused at first, but saw the group forming and gave my printout a second look- whew.
