The transfer was incredibly easy — from the Cruise Terminal you simply take the highway or train, and in half an hour you’re already surrounded by the rolling hills of Piedmont. The truffle hunt was authentic and surprising. The truffle hunter from Truffle Hunter Italy guides you with your own car for about 15 minutes to the forest, where watching the truffle dog at work is something truly unique. It’s a genuine, immersive experience — far from any tourist performance. After the search, the lunch in a historic trattoria was the highlight: soft egg with fresh black truffle, handmade pasta, and a menu that celebrates the local territory. The truffle is shaved right at the table, releasing an intoxicating aroma that fills the room. A perfect experience for cruise travelers who want to discover something authentic, nearby, and deeply connected to Piedmont. Highly recommended.
