I enjoyed a most splendid two day tour with Feeling Madeira. Their excellent drivers/guides, João and Leonel were perfect, and they both made the tours a complete success for me. They were both friendly, very helpful and very knowledgeable about the places that we visited. On both days of the tours, Joāo and Leonel were punctual, arriving at least 10 minutes before the pick up time. They were both very helpful in answering all questions asked by guests. There were very many lighthearted moments, especially from Leonel who charmed everyone. I have no hesitation in suggesting this tour. It was worth every penny and you get to know the island and its history!

Disappointing. Good trip for part of both days, however, on each day it was obvious that we would not either be able to see anything in the mountains and that it would be pointless due to extreme weather conditions. The port was closed, many levadas walks cancelled and it was severe weather conditions. We were disappointed that on both occasions the trips went ahead knowing we couldn’t really see anything for half the trip?

We did the East Tour and the West Tour in November 2025. Both days we had excellent, knowledgeable guides/drivers. Two days that were fun and we learned a lot about the island and the botany. We can only recommend.

Les guides étaient gentils et donnaient de l’information constamment sur les endroits visités, on était environ 12-15 voyageurs à faire l’excursion donc c’était parfait car nous n’attendions pas après les gens et c’était plus intime. J’ai adoré l’excursion, étant une jeune solo traveller j’ai trouvé très abordable pour une excursion sur 2 jours. Les endroits visités étaient parfait, plusieurs arrêts magnifiques, je n’ai pas trouvé que l’on passait trop de temps en voiture. Même en voiture, avec les paysages on ne se tanne pas! Je recommande fortement et j’ai adoré la guide Julia et le chauffeur (je ne me souviens plus son nom… Antonio il me semble)

Tag 1 (Rundfahrt Madeira Ost) mit Patricia als Fahrer /Guide war klasse. Bilingual in Englisch/Deutsch hat sie viele interessante Informationen vermittelt. Fahrerisch sehr einfühlsam und prima. Schwierige, kurvige Passagen in den Bergen wurden auch mal etwas langsamer angegangen. Guide mit viel Herz und Empathie für die Gäste.
Tag zwei mit Tino als Guide war weniger angenehm. Er spulte sein Programm professionell aber nüchtern und kühl runter. Fahrerisch viel zu schnell. Bestand darauf, ohne Klimaanlage zu fahren, was die Fahrt sehr anstrengend machte. Hat uns nicht gefallen.

2 jours de découvertes extraordinaire on en a pris plein les yeux tellement de belles choses que nous avons pu voir grâce à nos excursions dommage que le premier jour notre guide ne parlait pas un mot de français ça a un peu gâché notre journée mais Sergio a été bienveillant et était vraiment au top deuxième jour avec un guide qui parlait lui notre langue après avoir fait remonter le problème qui a été résolu par message très rapidement guide très sympa merci a eux pleins de bons souvenirs
