The Duomo is amazing and is a must-see if you're visiting Florence. The line to get in will wrap around the whole building if you don't get there very early, but it does move (I think we waited ~45 min to enter).
The audio tour was useless. I'm not sure if it was written AI or read by AI or both, but it was almost completely uninformative. I've had great audio tours before, but this one was just useless (e.g. telling us how beautiful the dome is. Duh.). So if you're there for the beauty, just go. If you're there for the history, get a tour guided by a person.
This is merely a link that they provide you to access an audio tour online.
This does not provide a ticket as outlined in the description, you will need to wait for general admission in a line that takes upwards of 45-60 min.

The guide was from Estonia and the tour was in English. Respectfully we could not understand what she said. We missed vey most everything. We felt there was not much content: she generalized too much. It was less than 1 hour long. It was disappointing as we didn’t have time to do another tour of The Duomo. Did not enjoy it

My wife & I were very excited to tour this basilica on our first visit to Italy & Florence. Took the train from Venice to Florence - 15 minutes before the tour was to begin we were contacted and told the Duomo was closed- we could not do the tour today. You can imagine our disappointment!! I'll let you know how my refund request goes.

It too long to start and wish it was a little bit longer. It took longer to get inside then the tour
We had to wait outside the cathedral for 30 minutes despite being on time. The guide was difficult to understand due to thick accent and poor English.
The tour operator is very disorganized. We were told this tour was approximately 1hr so we booked another tour shortly after this ended. However we spent an hour in the line and were told we had another 15 minutes until we were even going to be let into the Cathedral. Then another 20 mins of the tour. We never went inside so that we didn’t miss our next tour.
Was first time in florence we did the tour was excellent our tour lady speak clear and good explanation.

Our guide was nice and knowledgeable. However, I don’t think this is a visit that would require a tour guide. It was not skip the line. Most of the tour was waiting in line to get in. The actual Duomo experience would probably be more enjoyable reading about it online and just walking through. This is not in anyway because of our guide. I just don’t think a guide was necessary.

The tour guide for this trip never showed. We were there 15 minutes early and waited half an hour. Do not book this tour - waste of time. Thank you to Viator for promptly refunding our booking! I would not recommend Italy Tours though
You get what you pay for , this is not a skip the line. Te tour guide was very knowledgeable, spent more time in line then in the tour.
I was looking for a skip the line tour, and searched using those terms. The tour said admission was included, but they simply took the tour group into the general admission line, and talked for 30 or more minutes while we stood in line. Not what I thought I was paying for. In the end, it worked out, but the customer experience was only average.
Anna was a fantastic guide, she answered all the questions and gave us a great history lesson about the Duomo and Batistry.
45 minute guided tour (scheduled 75 minutes). Guide was a bit hard to understand. Skip the line was great
Our guide was fabulous! I believe her name was Patrizia. The tour was just the right length and she told us so many interesting facts relating to the history of the cathedral and the Duomo and Florence in general. A great experience
The most memorable part of the tour was standing in line for half an hour in the “skip the line tour”. We spent more time in line than in the Duomo.
The electronics had very bad range outside the building. Inside the building unless you were with in 5 meters you couldn’t make out what the guide was saying.
It was a little hard to fully understand our guide as her English was not clear at times. The description was at times fragmented and a bit rambling. A fair wait outside but fortunately the inside experience or the Basilica was a bit better.
Our guide Patricia was fantastic! She knew all the facts and also had a great sense of humor. It made the trip very informative and fun.
Skip the line was more like a priority line but well worth it as the tickets line went all around the block.
Worst tour I have ever taken. Do not believe the bag storage scam story at check in, you will see many people from other groups with bags and backpacks inside. Also, note this tour does not visit the primary portion of the cathedral.
The size and beauty of the dome was incredible. The hearing device was a little scratchy, but the guide was very good and informative. We waited 30 extra minutes in the rain since the Duomo employees took a lunch break. Frustrating.

The tour was the perfect length for our tired feet. Our guide was knowledgeable and friendly. There is a short wait tonget into the Doumo bit it is much shorter than if you enter with a general ticket. Our quite pointed things out that we would have otherwise missed. I definitely recommend taking this tour!
Great guide, was very interesting and passionate about the Vatican. Was dissappointed didnt get into Basilica, line huge. Didnt realise we could skip the line.
Guide spoke very bad english, really hard to understand. Most of the information given was irrelevant
The tour was advertised as an hour tour. It took 15 mins to get into the Duomo. After 30 mins in the Duomo the guide said she was done. Big disappointment. Would have gotten as much/more info from a Rick Steves audio tour
