It was very confusing how to find the location. You’re asked to meet in front of a business, but the business did not even know what you were talking about. I had a lot of complications with getting on ‎WhatsApp so I was unable to complete the self guided to scavenger hunt. I tried messaging and calling, but no answer on either. I am hoping to get a refund for this disappointing experience.

The treasure hunt uses WhatsApp. The narrative was amusing and drew you into the whole concept of helping to find the missing elixir. The clues were just challenging enough, we did need to seek help sometimes. The interaction with the different characters added to the experience and the reward at the end both welcome and delicious. The hunt suits small groups best. We would recommend it as a way of seeing lots of interesting places around Florence.

This experience was a lot of fun!! We went to places that we never would have on our own. The “story” was charming and clever. We learned a bit about history. The less than perfect part was that it was a bit too long and there was no way to end without abandoning it. Just as it seems to be ending there’s another clue and then another. If you want closure there is none but to push through. If you’re tired, that’s hard. But I loved the first 3/4s of it!
