Itinerary
The search begins at the Fountain of Neptune in Piazza Vecchio, home to the majestic and legend-rich Palazzo Vecchio. From here, follow your guide on a thematic treasure hunt to seek out the hidden symbols and secret history of some of Florence’s most famous landmarks.
Follow the path taken by symbolist Professor Robert Langdon, the protagonist of Inferno (played by Tom Hanks in the 2016 film), as you uncover the artwork, motifs, sculptures and other artifacts mentioned in the book that have associations with Dante’s famously fiery portrait of the circles of Hell.
Stroll around the city's open-air piazzas, wander through narrow medieval alleys, and visit important galleries on your quest to piece together the mystery of Inferno, learning about Florence’s fascinating mythical history along the way. At the end of the 2-hour tour, you may be inspired to read the book all over again!

The guide was extremely knowledgeable, and helpful. She was able to answer all our questions. She was a big fan of the books, which was fun to discuss. She knew about the secret doors, which we would not have noticed by ourselves. A great guide, and highly recommended for fans of the book, or just a different perspective on Florence.

It was not the tour we signed up for. But it was wonderful! Only 2 mentions of Dan Brown‘s Inferno. Our guide Vannozza made a quick recovery and took us places we would never have seen! Excellent.

Travelers beware!!! Thus guided tour disappointed us from the very beginning. The description included an English tour guide. Our guide did not speak English so we understood very little of information and we were not able to communicate any questions. The description also said the tour would be based on the inferno novel.
The guide knew little about the novel so that part of the tour was completely inaccurate.
A great disappointment and I would strongly suggest you not take this tour.

Dear Madam,
thank you for communicating your point of view.
Our tour guide has done this tour for long time and her English is as good as her Spanish is.
Sorry for telling you, you cannot judge the professionality of a person in this way like she hadn't practiced her script for it as you didn't really learn anything. This is highly offensive and not even true, as our guide told us you were not listening and you preferred to take pictures during her explaination instead of following the explaination about the monuments and the DAN BROWN'S NOVEL INFERNO . Pls have a look to our reviews ......mostly 5 stars and praises........sorry for you

She was very knowledgeable of the history about the area and how the different locations fit into the Inferno movie, and how they were a little 'tweaked' in the book. She also had good answers to questions that were raised. Made me appreciate the book and the movie even more.
She had to use both English and Italian for the group, but I must say her English was MUCH better than that of other bilingual guides I experienced. She was very easy to understand.

We signed up for an English tour, but it ended up being both English and French as there were three folks from France. This resulted in the tour taking much more time as everything had to be presented in both languages. The guide’s English was a little hard to understand at times as the couple from France often spoke loudly and over the guide. The Palazzo Vecchio was the only building that we had entrance to during the tour, which was quite amazing.
