    Great tour out of Edinburgh

Great experience with a small group (maybe 16 people) which is more our style. Guide was informative and funny but not overbearing. Would recommend this tour

Great intro to take before venturing out on your own

The bus driver, Cameron, was a wealth of information, sharing anecdotes and history during the drive. The in-between stops were too short for taking in the charms of the areas. Made suggestions for other points of interest to visit along the way. We did have lots of time at St Andrews & it was a beautiful, sunny day--a rarity, apparently :)

One of the best days in Scotland!

We did the trip on our second day in Scotland (first time visiting) and it was an excellent experience! We really enjoyed the combination of places but what made it complete I would say was our guide Brody! He was an entertaining storyteller, managing to combine history with interesting local facts and humour. We were a small, but diverse group of almost all ages and he also managed to engage everyone, as well as to answer our questions. Most importantly, we still had time to just take in the views and didn't experience any delays! All in all, wonderful trip and experience!

Great tour but kingsbarn is not included

    Valerie_H, Sep 2023
Great tour but we booked this specific tour because it included the kingsbarn distillery (from the listing tittle) which was not the case. The French listing needs to be updated.

    Nice excursion to St Andrews/Fife.

Enjoyed the Fife fishing village and St Andrews. Beautiful drive and glad someone else was behind the wheel. Our tour guide wasn’t really informative though.

    Viator Tours are excellent!!

The guide picked us up on time. Gave a nice briefing of what to expect before we started. He did an excellent job narrating everything all day long. This is the third country Ive used Viator tours, and service has been very consistent. I would highly recommend Viator tours.

Great Tour..Alex was excellent driver very informative...could have done with a little more time in the Falkland and Fife Villages maybe a little less time at St Andrews but everything was very nice.

    A disappointing day.

The trip had a bumpy start as our driver did not have an updated passenger list as we had booked the trip less than 24 hours. He initially sent us away saying we were not part of the trip even though we had tickets! We returned and insisted that we were on his trip and eventually were let on the bus. Pretty stressful start. The itinerary was not strictly followed as too much time was spent for coffee and lunch stops in smaller villages which only left us with little over one hour in St Andrews which was advertised as three hours of free time. Needless to say, the countryside was beautiful. Just wished we could have stayed longer in St Andrews.

Graham was a great tour guide. We enjoyed the tour a lot. The bus was comfortable, views were great, and we enjoyed our fish and chips in St Andrews.

    Not as advertised

    Thomas_E, Sep 2022
The guide was great, however the trip description was not accurate. The description indicated we’d spend 3 hours at St. Andrews and we got an hour and a half. We spent too much time at the first stop (an hour, when 20 minutes would have been enough) which was described as the last stop. It would also have been much better to have lunch at ST. Andrews than the small (very small) fishing village we visited. There is a lot to see in St. Andrews but we were very limited by time and very disappointed.

    Great tour!

Great to see the home of golf in person and what a treat it was. Lovely place ST Andrews on a whole and would of only been better by having a hit. Kingsbarn distillery was enlightening and hopefully will produce a great product in the future. Was great to see how a new establishment can grow from it roots. Andrew our guide was great with information and made the tour a delight.

Scotland is a beautiful place. Thoroughly enjoyed the drive in the countryside to St. Andrews. Loved the stops to small fishing villages along the way. The group decided not to stop at the Kingsbarns Distillery so that we could enjoy more time at St Andrews.
