Great tour out of Edinburgh
Great experience with a small group (maybe 16 people) which is more our style. Guide was informative and funny but not overbearing. Would recommend this tour

Great intro to take before venturing out on your own
The bus driver, Cameron, was a wealth of information, sharing anecdotes and history during the drive. The in-between stops were too short for taking in the charms of the areas. Made suggestions for other points of interest to visit along the way. We did have lots of time at St Andrews & it was a beautiful, sunny day--a rarity, apparently :)

Falkland
  • History lovers can tour Falkland’s listed buildings, including the Falkland Town Hall, Brunton House, and the House of Falkland.

  • Prepare for wet weather. The region experiences a fair amount of cloud cover, rain, and even snow in the winter, and it’s best to come prepared with coats and umbrellas.

  • Don’t forget to get outside at Falkland Palace: It’s home to a range of gardens, plus one of the oldest royal tennis courts in the world.
