After disembarking your ship at Dubrovnik’s port, venture into the city’s Old Town to begin your "Game of Thrones" tour.
Listen as your guide regales you with tales of the fictional Targaryen family and their fearsome dragon. Later, learn about Ayra Stark and hear about her life on the streets after war broke out with the Lannisters.
Stroll along the City Walls to see where the city was attacked by the Baratheon clan in the series, and then visit Lovrijenac Fortress, a real medieval castle that features in many gory scenes. Soak up the vistas from the fortress and hear about how the Battle of Blackwater was filmed nearby. As you explore, take in excellent views of the city and the Adriatic Sea.

Katarina was a wonderful tour guide. She was knowledgable and enthusiastic and made the scenes from GOT really come alive. I also appreciated that she included a non-GOT historical perspective actually telling us about Dubrovnik in addition to explaining scenes from the film. I would highly recommend Katarina and this tour.

This tour was VERY informative. Our tour guide was very articulate and knew her history. This tour was a lot more in depth into the history of Dubrovnik as well as the history behind the filming of Game of Thrones. Definitely the highlight of our trip!
Couple tips:
Bring something to drink to stay hydrated
Eat before going on this tour as you do a lot of walking!

We had an excellent guide who knew GOT and the filming locations very well.
Was a very well organised tour and it also showed us some areas of Dubrovnik town we wouldn’t have visited.
We were also given brief history of the old town when we walked though the city walls.

Our Guide was excellent. He was very knowledgeable about both the Game of Thrones and the history of Croatia making the tour very informative. He managed to take us to many fantastic sights for great pictures and seemed to always know where the shady spots were if he had to stop and explain something which I appreciated. I also appreciated that there was no forced gift shop detours.

Obama was wonderful! She was very informative and knowledgeable about the area in the history. I wasn’t sure if I thought the Game of Thrones tour would be worth it but after taking it, it was completely worth it for all the beautiful views and knowledge and history about the town. Book it! The most important part of a good tour is by far the guide, and in Tea we had the best. She regaled us with information not only about GoT, but also the history of the city. We had a wonderful 3 hour tour which flew by. Would definitely recommend this tour to everyone from novices to die hard fans. Thanks, Tea!

A truly great tour for the Game of Thones fan. This tour goes to a lot of places with heaps of stops. Your guide will provide a comprehensive description of what you are seeing and what scene/character is relevant. There are also plenty of photos to help you remember the scenes and characters involved in the location you are visiting. It is worth noting that this is a very physical tour with lots of walking in the hot sun and lots of steps and I mean lots, like 1500 of them. This can be a challenge for those not used to walking or those with mobility issues. In saying that, I am not fit, I am also asthmatic and walk with the aid of a walking stick, yet I managed quite well and my guide was exceptional in ensuring I was coping. So if you are up for the challenge, go for it! You will not be disappointed. What I really love is that you get to have a thorough exploration of Dubrovnik in and see all the same stuff other tourists will be seeing, but you will have a unique GOT perspective in doing so. My only negative was that there was not enough time provided at the famous step were Cersei does her walk of shame to get a photo taken, would have been nice to have a few minutes to do so. Still I would encourage all GOT fans to do this tour if they are up for the physical challenge.

Great tour with very knowledgeable local guide. Be sure to know there are a LOT of steps up to the walls, but well worth the super views. Some folks in our group bailed out due to all the steps!

Great tour, lots of interesting information, and lots of steps. Dubrovnik is an amazing city. After the Game of Thrones tour, we were given a voucher to walk the old city walls on our own. It was like going back in time. It was exhausting though on a hot day.

Ivana led our tour of about 20 people, she was very knowledgeable and funny. If everyone consents she will also provide actual historical information, finding the right balance of GOT and real information, which we appreciated. Ivana also gave suggestions on where to eat and drink after the tour, all of her suggestions were amazing! We definitely did not want to leave Dubrovnik, it was a beautiful city. We highly recommend this tour! It was fun to see all of the familiar sights, but please, please, PLEASE ask to hear about at least a little history of the city and country as well - it is very interesting and will not interfere with your time to re-enact whatever scene/photo you want.

Really fantastic. I know, all this GOT stuff is a bit over the top if you are not a fan but for those who follow the religion it really was entertaining. I might add there was a healthy dose of historical and cultural information thrown in as well. My husband is not a devotee but he enjoyed the tour also. Well done to the tour guide!

Excellent tour. The guide brought pictures of the scenes, talked about what we were seeing and where CGI transformed the actual site into the scene shots we were shown. She talked in depth about the filming experience for the people of Dubrovnik, including some interesting side stories of the cast. Highly recommend this tour.

If you love Game of Thrones, this is a great tour. WARNING: LOTS of climbing of stairs. If you have trouble with stairs avoid this tour. The old city is beautiful but very crowded. Its a good way to see the town, learn some genuine history of the town, and also learn about the filming of GOT. My boyfriend was not a GOT fan but he still enjoyed the tour because of the history of the city.
