What are people saying about Dubrovnik

Fun and interesting tour!
Dubrovnik deserves a deeper dive. Such rich history, from the Greeks through medieval times up until Yugoslavia and the Game of Thrones phenomenon. Davor was a very knowledgeable (and very funny) guide, talking expertly about each layer of history that makes Dubrovnik so interesting. 100% recommend.

Perfect tour!
I decided to book a tour away from the cruise and so happy we decided to do this tour.
We visited this family farm that made wine and olive oil and it certainly was not disappointing! Fantastic wine and olive oil, accompanied by other lovely homemade snacks. It was a perfect place to watch the sun go down! We would highly recommend this to anyone visiting Dubrovnik!

Best way to see the ultimate view
I'm so glad we chose this activity instead of taking the cable car. On a hot day, the breeze in the Tuk-tuk and the friendly, informative guide was the best thing we did in Dubrovnik. Another nice couple joined our us, but it felt like a private tour. Shout out to Peter, our guide, who did a fantastic job.

It was so interesting, and the knowledge of the guide was superb. Darko, made the tour fun and we got history of Croatia as well as GoT location information. Wear comfy clothes and shoes, a hat is a good idea and take plenty of water. But you do get the chance to stop for water on route.

Well paced tour with a...
Well paced tour with a good overview of the history of Dubrovnik paired with really nice views! Apologies that I can’t remember our guide’s name (he’s a veteran and used to work at various humanitarian organisations), but he had a good sense of humour and made it a very enjoyable experience for everyone. Thanks very much!

Soaring from Above in Dubrovnik
If you want the best view in Dubrovnik with a little adventure, this is the event for you. The guides were very professional and courteous and even taught us a bit of Croatian history.
You meet your group at the specified time and your guide takes you up to the event site. At the site you are given all the gear you need and taught the basics and safety of your gear and how to operate it. If the guides aren’t comfortable with your performance, they will err on the side of caution. One lady wasn’t able to operate equipment safely, so she was given a wonderful white wine as she waited. She was a good sport about it, and enjoyed the views anyway.
The course is separated by two lines, and they let you do each line twice! Great value for your money!
Philip and Mateo were awesome and very respectful and courteous. There was an elderly woman in the group and they made sure to lend a hand to help her to ensure her safety. In the middle of the course, Mateo sat us down, took pictures of us, and spoke to us about the history of Croatia. Awesome time! Highly recommended!

Interesting and intimate wine tasting experience
A lovely way to spend the afternoon - Mislav our driver was super knowledgeable about Croatian history. Ivo, the winery owner, was extremely welcoming and happy to answer all our questions. The food and wine were excellent, as were the views. And a short visit to Cavtat was the perfect way to round it all off.

Branko is an outstanding guide—always smiling, friendly, and genuinely enthusiastic. His positive energy and passion for both his city and his work are truly contagious. This tour is a fun way to discover some of the city's highlights. I highly recommend the experience.

Great tour
We were met by our guide Mario at the allotted point and taken to his aircon mini bus. Be aware that if you can’t walk up steps or on stony ground you probably won’t be able to do the his tour . Mario was an extremely knowledgeable guide and we had plenty of time at each of the 4 stops . This is much more than I expected and we were both delighted with the experience.

Excellent food and history tour
This tour was a perfect blend of food and history of the city. The food was delicious! Our guide Anna was very knowledgeable about the city, provided perfect explanation of the food and wine. She was very pleasant. We saw parts of the city we hadn’t found on our own which made it exciting! I would highly recommend this tour to anyone wanting to learn more about Dubrovnik and the local food traditions!!

Lovely wine tasting tour with scenic views
We took this tour on Sunday 17th May, and had Matko as our deiver/guide.
Matko spoke perfect english having lived in Dublin for 10 years and explained a lot about the history of Dubrovnik and Croatia generally.
Our trip initially went to the lovely small town of Ston, which has a strong wall built around it expanding right up the hill.
You can walk the walls for which the cost of the ticket is €10 per adult, but be prepared that the wall does rise quite steeply and is fairly narrow, but ok for most people if you take your time.
Part of the wall was vlocked off due to repairs takubg place, which meant if you wanted to walk nearly all the walls, you needed to walk up to approx halfway, nearly back down again, and then back up again (although you can exit when coming down if you prefer, or have limited time).
We left Ston and proceeded to 3no different wineries for wine tasting, where we had 3 different wines to taste at each.
All the wines were very good although there was normally one based on the main local grape, Plavic Mali.
The first winery we went to, Putnikic, had a museum, abd the guide shiwed us around before the wine tasting.
The Edivo winery was a bit different to the other two insofar as some of their wines were aged in the bottle at a depth of 20m in the bay for 2 years (whilst the last winery also do this, it was for 1 year only).
The bottles in the clay pots at Edvio were quite expensive, but would involve quite a bit of theatre when opening the bottle, as was shown on the CNN video, so appear to be unique.
The last winery was Marlais Winery, which was run by a young local family since around 2013, and they have been continually expanding their range of wines and their vines.
After we had finished at the wineries, Matko kindly offered to take us down to a lovely bar at Mali (little) Ston to an oyster bar for us to try out sone, as we had never had them before.
We had 3 each of the fresh oysters (their oyster farm being effectively right next door to the restaurant) and grilled oysters.
I preferred the grilled oysters, but my partner preffered the fresh oysters.
We then got taken back to our hotel
The overall tour took approx 8hrs including the extra stop at Mali Ston.
Matko was a lovely chap who couldn't do enough for you.
We would definitely recommend this tour, even if you don't do the extra stop.

Great time
A great time and opportunity to see the islands. The boat trip was fantastic, no end of drinks (soft and alcoholic) and food being provided. The staff were very helpful. Boat was spacious. Plenty of time on each island with tips for each one.
Only thing I’d say is I’d recommend is maybe not getting the lunch option, just eat on one of the islands! But whichever you choose it’s a good option.
Thanks for having us:)
