What are people saying about Dubrovnik

Worth it!
Long day and lengthy waits at the border crossings (as you're on a tour bus with 50+ others) but the trip was well worth it. Mostar is a beautiful town and the local guide was great! Kravice waterfalls are great to see and in the warmer months would be great for a swim! Just beautiful.

Awesome day trip to an interesting country
Marko was an awesome tour guide- we loved visiting Mostar/BIH with a local. He was patient and gave a lot of good advice. We enjoyed his recommendations and we loved hearing about his life and family in the area. We spent a week on the coast so was looking to do something different and being in Bosnia and seeing the town of Mostar was definitely an experience I won’t forget.
Bonus- I accidentally left my hat and jacket in his van and he was kind enough to drop at our hotel hours After our excursion.
Def recommend this unique day trip from Dubrovnik
Thank you Marko!

We had an absolutely fantastic day exploring Montenegro thanks to our amazing tour guide, Petar! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
From the moment we met him, Petar was incredibly courteous, professional, and welcoming. His knowledge of the history and culture made every stop come alive — from the breathtaking beauty of Perast, to the stunning old town of Kotor, and the vibrant charm of Budva. He shared so many interesting stories and facts that we never would have discovered on our own.
What really made the experience special was Petar’s sense of humor and warm personality. He kept us laughing throughout the day while making sure everyone was comfortable and well taken care of. It truly felt like traveling with a knowledgeable friend rather than just a guide.
If you’re planning a visit to Montenegro, we can’t recommend Petar highly enough. He made our trip unforgettable, and we would gladly tour with him again anytime! 🇲🇪✨

Amazing day and excellent...
Amazing day and excellent value for money. The sites were special and timings at each stop were perfect. Our host Dražen was very informative on not only history, but also little current facts about the countries of Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina. As well as providing travel tips and advice. Highly recommend.
Shout out to the driver Teo as well who got us all there and back safely and smoothly.

Montenegro; cats and cheese? What else could we could one need?
Ado was my guide/driver. This is the second tour I have done with him and his company, and he's terrific! Loads of information and a careful driver, too! We had a great group and we were laughing the whole day! From someone who works in tourism herself, this passed my test with flying colors! Definitely do this tour!

Best Elafiti Island Cruise Company
We travel at least twice a year to various European countries and have booked several local tours over the years. Our experiences with the local tour companies have ranged from outstanding to "just OK." The entire experience with Dubrovnik Boat Tours (DBT) from booking to getting off the boat at the end of the tour was absolutely outstanding. DBT is one of the most professional, efficient, forward-thinking, and accommodating tour companies we've encountered.
The experience started not long after initially booking the tour. Our travel itinerary was very complex and we had questions regarding specific details of how we could get to the departure dock the day of the tour from where we were initially scheduled to stay in Dubrovnik. Every request for information was promptly responded to within a few hours.
A few days before the tour, we hadn’t yet checked what the weather would be the day of the tour. We received a message from Srdjan Klaic, our DBT point of contact, suggesting that if possible, we take the tour a day earlier because the scheduled day of the tour was to be bad weather. The prior day would not be possible, because we would still be traveling to Dubrovnik, so we asked if we could be rescheduled for the day after the scheduled day. He immediately responded that would be OK and that was that.
When we arrived in Dubrovnik, we found that we’d been moved to a different hotel. We informed DBT 24 hours out that our hotel accommodations had been changed last-minute. They immediately made changes to their pickup schedule to accommodate picking us up at the new location - - no questions asked and in a pleasant “can do – no problem” manner.
The staff and crew on the boat were some of the most friendly, professional and fun people one could hope for. On top of all of this, the two lunch options prepared fresh onboard while sailing were absolutely delicious, served steaming hot, and of a quantity one would seldom find in a 4-star restaurant.
Thank you DBT for a most memorable and enjoyable experience.

Excellent value for money.
£9 for a full eight hours of travel between Dubrovnik and three beautiful islands. Excellent value for money, the tour guides were great too. Offering drinks of all varieties in that price.
Lopud offers the best value as it has good carts for taxis, a beach, restaurants, shops and history but it is pricey. Had an excellent meal there and swim on a near empty perfect sandy beach.
The other two islands offer a lot less to do so it’s harder to fill the time from the drop off spots but they are very picturesque.
I’d almost say it’s better to offer 30 mins on two of the islands to turn lopud into a four hour stay if I could recommend any changes.

Montenegro with Milko
This tour is a full day and gives a great overview of the country of Montenegro. Even the scenery from the car helped us get the flavor and feel of another country. Our driver and guide Milko did a great job of driving and he was very knowledgeable of the roads and area and where the traffic was. He kindly escorted us to a boat to take us across to see our Lady of the Rocks and also suggested a great spot for dinner in Budva. He kept in touch with us and if we wanted to leave a spot earlier or later he was right there to pick us up. We enjoyed the ferry on our way back. The border was congested but that couldn’t be helped. We would highly recommend this tour.

Plenty of time for swimming on the islands, which was fantastic - the water was lovely.
Would advise to be brave and go into the cave as it’s worth seeing - despite the water being a little chilly to begin with!
Lunch was plentiful, however the wine was a little questionable 😂

Good tour, it served our purpose of avoiding renting a car (plus the extra cost for going to Montenegro) but being able to visit Montenegro. Decision was reinforced once we saw the parking situations in Kotor and Perast (small lot and 15 euros for the day - we saw lots of people park, find out the price and drive off!). Border was shorter than expected based on the reviews, 1h06 minutes on the way in and 25 minutes on the way back - but it was October. Kotor is very nice and there’s plenty of time to visit.

Had a great time
Our guide for the morning trip was James and he did a wonderful job. I was a solo traveler and then there were two other groups on the boat. James did a great job making sure we were all comfortable and knew the plan. He was really great at driving the boat smoothly on a choppier day. We had some trouble getting off from the beach because of the big waves and again, he did well managing the situation and was very patient and had a great attitude. I really enjoyed this trip and a half a day with the perfect amount of time, especially going solo.
