We had an absolutely fantastic time exploring Montenegro on this tour! Having it be a small group was so much better than a big bus and having our guide Darko lead us the entire way made the experience go from 10/10 to 1000/10! He was so nice, knowledgeable, and did everything he could to ensure we had a great trip from taking our pictures and showing us secret spots for views of the bay to making sure he was constantly checking the border to plan the best and fastest route for us! He was truly excellent, to the company that puts on this tour, please know Darko was AMAZING, given him a raise - he is the best part of this tour by far!!

We had the best time!! Igor our guide was so nice! He was informative and kind. He helped organize us for border crossings and all that stuff. The waterfalls are beautiful. It’s a challenging walk back up in case you have mobility issues. It was lovely! Modar was really cool-the old bridge and new old bridge and the mini bridge. It was lovely! Start to finish!

This was a phenomenal way to see the surrounding islands of Dubrovnik. There are plenty of chances to swim in caves and enjoy the blue waters. Would recommend bringing at least €60 (€30 pp) for an entrance fee to the national park and more if you plan on buying drinks at the beach bar, etc. Carlo was a great tour guide and brought the energy. Would definitely recommend this tour for any one of all ages coming to Dubrovnik.

Fantastic introduction to Montenegro

Drazen and Zack were exceptional! Our guide Drazen prepared us for all the activities ( including what to expect in the border crossing )as to give us ample of time to enjoy exploring on our own time. Drazen also offered a unique and personal perspective to the local history of the area. Zacks driving was smooth and comfortable around all the curves of the coastal road. Overall a fantastic day!

Great day in Bosnia

This was an awesome day! Beautiful city, beautiful waterfalls, and a great guide!! I met some lovely people in my group, and we agreed to meet up again this week. Our guide, Disco, was very friendly, knowledgeable, and funny. He made you hang onto his every word, giving the history of Bosnia and its people life and strength. It would be easy to spend more time listening to him. He gave great recommendations for lunch and for shopping. I highly recommend this tour!!

We had a wonderful time on the 3 Islands Cruise today! The boat was impressively large, very clean, and comfortable, making the journey enjoyable from start to finish. The crew were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive throughout the trip. The lunch provided was delicious and exceeded our expectations. A special thank you to Elisa, the fantastic activity organiser, whose enthusiasm, energy, and professionalism made the day even more enjoyable. Even though the weather wasn’t perfect, we thoroughly enjoyed our day out on the sea. The beautiful scenery, excellent service, spacious and spotless boat, and great atmosphere made it a memorable experience. Highly recommended to anyone visiting Dubrovnik and join this amazing activity!

Yes!! Book it!

Valentina, our tour guide, made the day so smooth! She was professional and also incredibly sweet. She kept our group safe & organized throughout the day and explained each step in detail to keep us on schedule. She took the time between stops to really connect with each of us and chatting with her was a highlight of the experience! Additional shout out to our driver- I could not have driven these roads, esp in a giant tour bus. He got us where we needed to go quickly! The day does start early (we were picked up at 6am) but once you start arriving at your destinations you will see why! We were the first tour bus through border control, the first one in Mostar, and the first one to the waterfalls! Every time we left a stop it was just as this the other 30 buses full of tourists were arriving so we got to enjoy many of these places alone ❤️ Some tips if you decided to take this wonderful tour (which I wholeheartedly recommend) - if you’re prone to motion sickness, bring Dramamine. The coastal roads are beautiful but very wind-y. - be on time! Every minute you are late back to the bus is less time for everyone at the next stop. FOUR minutes can be the difference between waiting 5 min vs 1.5 hours at the border crossing!! - Bring exact change. You need 3€ cash per person for the border crossing and 10€ cash per person for the waterfall entrance fee. - If you want to go in the water at the falls, bring sandals or water shoes. They are rock beaches and they are SLIPPERY and sharp to walk over with bare feet. 2 full days in Dubrovnik is enough to experience old town and do everything on the Dubrovnik pass. If you have another day to spare and want to experience a new culture- book this trip! 🩷

Great day trip

Very good tour, safe and professional driver, Carmen was a very bubbly guide and kept us entertained and informed throughout the tour. We were very lucky at the border both ways and had minimal delay . Perast was small but so quaint and peaceful. Kotor Old Town was bustling but well worth a visit. Definitely recommend.

Montenegro, the hidden gem

We booked a private tour to Montenegro with a driver and sight seeing on our own with no guide. Our driver, Matko was great. He offered lots of historical and geographical information of the area. His communication skills were really good and he was very friendly. Matko gave some great suggestions when there were issues locally meaning we would have had difficulty getting to and seeing some of the places on the original itinerary. He asked what our interests and dietary requirements were and recommended somewhere that was renowned for its seafood for our lunch in Perast. The restaurant was a beautiful historical building that had been a working mill. Also, as there was a local car race in Kotor, the road to the cable car was closed so he suggested a wine tasting and trip to a boutique vineyard, Savina where we had spectacular views, amazing grazing platter and tastings of their 3 main wine offerings and a sample of Grappa at the end. Yelina was the hostess for our tour and sampling and she was so delightful, explaining the history of the vineyard, showing us around and organising the tastings. Absolutely amazing winery. The whole day was remarkable, Montenegro was a beautiful country, friendly people, interesting historical places and overall a relaxing and informative day.

We travel at least twice a year to various European countries and have booked several local tours over the years. Our experiences with the local tour companies have ranged from outstanding to "just OK." The entire experience with Dubrovnik Boat Tours (DBT) from booking to getting off the boat at the end of the tour was absolutely outstanding. DBT is one of the most professional, efficient, forward-thinking, and accommodating tour companies we've encountered. The experience started not long after initially booking the tour. Our travel itinerary was very complex and we had questions regarding specific details of how we could get to the departure dock the day of the tour from where we were initially scheduled to stay in Dubrovnik. Every request for information was promptly responded to within a few hours. A few days before the tour, we hadn’t yet checked what the weather would be the day of the tour. We received a message from Srdjan Klaic, our DBT point of contact, suggesting that if possible, we take the tour a day earlier because the scheduled day of the tour was to be bad weather. The prior day would not be possible, because we would still be traveling to Dubrovnik, so we asked if we could be rescheduled for the day after the scheduled day. He immediately responded that would be OK and that was that. When we arrived in Dubrovnik, we found that we’d been moved to a different hotel. We informed DBT 24 hours out that our hotel accommodations had been changed last-minute. They immediately made changes to their pickup schedule to accommodate picking us up at the new location - - no questions asked and in a pleasant “can do – no problem” manner. The staff and crew on the boat were some of the most friendly, professional and fun people one could hope for. On top of all of this, the two lunch options prepared fresh onboard while sailing were absolutely delicious, served steaming hot, and of a quantity one would seldom find in a 4-star restaurant. Thank you DBT for a most memorable and enjoyable experience.
