What are people saying about Dubrovnik

Excellent kayak experience
We had a wonderful time with Roman and Lobby. Our guides shared wonderful knowledge about the city and were very friendly and helpful. We loved swimming and snorkeling at the cave. I was nervous it would be hard to keep pace with the group but it was not difficult at all! Would definitely recommend this!

10/10 recommended
The perfect game of thrones tour with a friendly funny guide! The tour was amazing to hear all about the behind the scenes of filming, the locations and also about the actors.
We also got to see views of Dubrovnik we never even knew existed.
The guide really added to the day too, with personal stories of the actors and also being super patient with slower members of our group

Fabulous!
I went on this tour yesterday, and Davor was a fantastic guide and had so much knowledge and paced the tour brilliantly. Whilst it was hot, we had plenty of pauses and time for photos. There are a few pit stops where you can buy water. Would definitely recommend to friends/family in future!

Awesome tour
This tour was an amazing way to get Croatian history and also get great views of the city and the sea. Our guide, Goran, was tremendously knowledgeable and personable and was willing to share his personal experiences to really bring the history of Croatia alive. The city walls are a once in a lifetime experience.

Interesting and engaging - would recommend!
Informative and interesting. Our guide Mara was super professional and engaging. We are a family with teenagers and we all learnt a lot about Dubrovnik. On a very hot day she ensured we stopped in shady spots. The microphone and earphones worked really well too.

This food tour is...
This food tour is outstanding. While it is cliche to say "this tour exceeded our expectations," in this case it is simply a statement of fact. The food venues were excellent and our guide was extraordinary, who engaged with everyone on the tour. Thanks for a great experience in Dubrovnik.

Great tour
We had a great time on our tour today. Not a lot of walking, which was fine as it was quite a hot day. Lots of great food and great information from our guide Senija. Definitely a tour we would take again it and our advice is show up a bit hungry, you won’t leave hungry.

3 amazing things to do worth every penny.
This tour was amazing. Our tour guide was extremely knowledgeable and professional.
Inside the walls of Dubrovnik was so unbelievable. Having a guided tour of the city was great !! The cable car ride was wonderful and gave you an opportunity to see everything from such a view. The city and its history were undoubtedly indescribable and getting to walk the walls was was a must do. ( start the walls at the front west corner and get the hard work done at the beginning, bring water on the walls walk or you’ll be sorry. )
Is a must do tour !!

Excellent food and history tour
This tour was a perfect blend of food and history of the city. The food was delicious! Our guide Anna was very knowledgeable about the city, provided perfect explanation of the food and wine. She was very pleasant. We saw parts of the city we hadn’t found on our own which made it exciting! I would highly recommend this tour to anyone wanting to learn more about Dubrovnik and the local food traditions!!

Lovely wine tasting tour with scenic views
We took this tour on Sunday 17th May, and had Matko as our deiver/guide.
Matko spoke perfect english having lived in Dublin for 10 years and explained a lot about the history of Dubrovnik and Croatia generally.
Our trip initially went to the lovely small town of Ston, which has a strong wall built around it expanding right up the hill.
You can walk the walls for which the cost of the ticket is €10 per adult, but be prepared that the wall does rise quite steeply and is fairly narrow, but ok for most people if you take your time.
Part of the wall was vlocked off due to repairs takubg place, which meant if you wanted to walk nearly all the walls, you needed to walk up to approx halfway, nearly back down again, and then back up again (although you can exit when coming down if you prefer, or have limited time).
We left Ston and proceeded to 3no different wineries for wine tasting, where we had 3 different wines to taste at each.
All the wines were very good although there was normally one based on the main local grape, Plavic Mali.
The first winery we went to, Putnikic, had a museum, abd the guide shiwed us around before the wine tasting.
The Edivo winery was a bit different to the other two insofar as some of their wines were aged in the bottle at a depth of 20m in the bay for 2 years (whilst the last winery also do this, it was for 1 year only).
The bottles in the clay pots at Edvio were quite expensive, but would involve quite a bit of theatre when opening the bottle, as was shown on the CNN video, so appear to be unique.
The last winery was Marlais Winery, which was run by a young local family since around 2013, and they have been continually expanding their range of wines and their vines.
After we had finished at the wineries, Matko kindly offered to take us down to a lovely bar at Mali (little) Ston to an oyster bar for us to try out sone, as we had never had them before.
We had 3 each of the fresh oysters (their oyster farm being effectively right next door to the restaurant) and grilled oysters.
I preferred the grilled oysters, but my partner preffered the fresh oysters.
We then got taken back to our hotel
The overall tour took approx 8hrs including the extra stop at Mali Ston.
Matko was a lovely chap who couldn't do enough for you.
We would definitely recommend this tour, even if you don't do the extra stop.

We had an excellent...
We had an excellent experience with our Dubrovnik tour guide, Kim. What really set her apart was that she was born and raised in Dubrovnik, which brought so much depth to the tour. She was able to share firsthand knowledge of the city’s history while also giving thoughtful insight into what life is like there today, including the current cultural and social climate.
Beyond the history, she was incredibly helpful in offering practical advice for tourists—what to do, what to avoid, and how to make the most of our time in the city without falling into common tourist traps. Her guidance felt honest, current, and very well-informed.
Her restaurant recommendations were also outstanding and ended up being some of our favorite meals of the entire trip. We especially loved the pizza at Tabasco Pizzeria, the gelato from Peppino’s Gelato, and the cheese baruk at Holy Baruk.
She was a true professional—warm, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about her city. We would highly recommend her to anyone visiting Dubrovnik.

Just Do It!
Seeing the city from the water was incredible. Our guide, Marco was great! His enthusiasm and humor made the afternoon so fun. This activity is a must do in Dubrovnik. We had a bit of a workout and enjoyed a gorgeous sunset while sipping wine. I echo previous reviewer’s recommendations that you wear water socks with a sturdy bottom. You’ll be glad you did! A waterproof phone case is handy for snapping pictures throughout the paddle.
