It was great, they were funny, very knowledgeable and it was fun to listen to all their stories and experiences.
Kathya was spectacular. She made each experience full of knowledge, I don't even know how she made everything run so smoothly without any stress on our end. She's absolute the best !
We had a wonderful tour exploring the beautiful Dubrovnik with Katja and Mario. The first half of the day was walking around a few filming locations, we learned what was real and what they filmed in studio with Katja, who also worked on the set when they filmed here (super cool)!
Mario took us on the driving tour for the second half of the day where we got to explore the botanical gardens that are hundreds of years old, and includes an absolutely stunning view of the ocean and islands. We finished the tour at the top of the cable car, giving us a panoramic view of the whole city. On top of the game of thrones facts, we also got to learn a bit about Dubrovnik’s history, which we loved!

Just returned from cruise- these tour guides and this tour were awesome! Knowledgable, friendly, & accommodating. This was my favorite location and tour of the 10 day trip.
Friendly, knowledgeable and humorous guides, small tour group with plenty of time for questions and photos.
Wondeful experience. We were able to see everything and take lots of pictures. The tour guides were wonderful and informative. Croatia is a country I want to explore more further in the future.
Katja our guide worked on GOT. She had some great insights on the filming and the characters. We took the extended tour including the gardens. The gardens are in the country side so another plus to see the area outside the city.

This was a great tour! I was the only GOT fan, but my whole group loved it. We did the whole day, and both guides were very knowledgeable and pleasant. We got back to our cruise ship with time to spare.

If you’ve seen Game of Thrones this tour is a must. Both Katia and Mario were so knowledgeable about the show and the history of Dubrovnik. The beauty inside the walls as well as the gardens and city views was spectacular!!
So much more than expected! Not just a tour of GOT locations, but a deeply personalised insight into the filming process, putting you right on the set, even down to camera positions and the backstage gossip by someone who was actually working there, plus an understanding of how the film industry impacts the local culture and economy. In the afternoon the visit to the botanical gardens also provided an education about the flora of the region, and how it impacted the incredible history of Dubrovnik and the region. The absolute highlight of an amazing visit; if you don’t do this trip you will have seriously missed out. Seriously!
Katja and Mario were very professional and full of energy. There were 2 portions to our tour. The walking part had us visit the different filming locations of the game of thrones series. To be honest, I would have been lost without the tour guides explanations. Hollywood changes so much of the filming locations sometimes for their story lines, it would have been impossible to find the places on my own. With the guides explanations, pictures and background of the whole process, the sightseeing became much more enjoyable. Also, the hearing devices makes the tour much more enjoyable. Tour guide says that the area law requires it, but it also really enhanced the experience since I could hear every word. The second part of the tour had us go Lady Olenna’s garden scenes. It’s a nice arboretum to walk around. Again, without the guide’s comments, you would be hard pressed to find the exact locations. Mario had a good knowledge of the plant life of the area. He also gave a good explanation of the general history of Dubrovnik. Mario sent us all the way back to our cruise terminal saving us a trip from old town.
My only regret is that I did not see the old town walls from the southeast side. I feel that really puts the town in a picturesque setting.
Incredible tour of the old city and of Trsteno Arboretum where scenes of GAME OF THRONES was filmed.
Beside being great locations just to visit it was fun to hear and see these places. Finally, we drove to a spectacular view of the Old City.
Katja was awesome! I loved how entertaining and knowledgeable she was. The insider facts she shared was priceless and she brought the Game of Thrones to life for me. She has a wonderful sense of humor! I highly recommend this GOT experience with her! We got the extended tour with her husband Mario who was just as informative and captivating as well. We had an added bonus with his knowledge of history of Croatia and you can sense his pride of this great country.

Really nice and informative tour with Katia and Mario, lot of interesting information behind the scenes of GoT as well as history of the whole region. Both guides were really friendly and enthusiastic.
We lost our guide about halfway into tour. First part was good. Once lost, we could not get in touch.
The meet up instructions were easy. We had Katia in the morning, who had worked helping with costumes. She was friendly, funny and professional. We went to so many spots and she had pictures to remind is of the scenes in the show. She told us about the actors, the production successes and fails and how it affected their city. Along with GoT info we learned about Dubrovnik and Croatia . She was amazing! We had about a 2 hour break on our own for lunch and then the tour continued on the afternoon with a different guide and went by van to the arboretum where many scenes with Lady Olena were shot. We learned about the trees and the arboretum as well. We then went to a high point where more scenes were shot and the best view of Dubrovnik. This guide was just as personal, friendly and professional. At the end we even got driven back to the port to pick up our ship, which we were not expecting. One of the best tours we had! Highly recommend!
Great tour to see main sites and associate them with game of thrones scenes
Good guide with great personality
Both guides were incredibly knowledgeable and entertaining. The information and way it was shared were very engaging. For us personally, being part of a small group improved the whole experience for us, rather than being with a larger group.
Very comfortable bus and excellent driver. The walking tour guide wasn’t great because we couldn’t hear most of what she was saying because it was a big group
Fun to see where the Game of Thrones scenes were filmed and learn about the modifications for the scenes. Second time I've taken this tour.
Wonderful tour taking in an entire day. Please note the 5 hours mentioned is actually 7 as there's a 2 hour break for lunch after the walking part of the experience.
The guides (separate for morning and afternoon) were both incredible and the sights wonderful. You see so many GOT locations, but also take in the beauty of Dubrovnik and its surroundings.
We had the absolute pleasure of joining Katja and Marco on their Game of Thrones tour in Dubrovnik, and it was nothing short of exceptional. From the very beginning, their energy, knowledge, and passion for both the show and the city itself were evident.

Katja and Mario our guides were great! Both were very knowledgeable and very pleasant and entertaining as well. We learned a lot about the history of the town as well as many Game of Thrones set info.
The only thing I would change is maybe just adding the price of admission for parts of the tour like City Walls and the Arboretum.
Katja & Mario were excellent tour guides. Great way to see many sites in Old Town & Dubrovnik with a little movie magic but no boring history.
Had a wonderful time exploring the sites in Dubrovnik and the area where Game of Thrones was shot. Our tour guide was fantastic. She was a wealth of information having worked on the series. I don't remember her name. But she was great. The next part of our tour was on a van and our driver was Dennis. He was quite a character giving us information about his love life and his plans for the future. His language was a little rough too. We had another couple with us who wasn;'tin our group and they were a little offended. But all in all the tour was great.
Our guide was fantastic! She was so knowledgeable and had great stories to share. We had some rain that morning, but she made sure it did not stop us from seeing the wonderful sights of Dubrovnik.
Fantastic time with Katja and Denis! Both are very knowledgeable about Dubrovnik, Croatia and GOT! Denis is very, very funny. So cool to see where everything was filmed if you are a fan, and to learn more about Croatia. Meeting point was very convenient - exactly where the cruise ship shuttle dropped us off. We did the longer 5 hour tour and at the end were dropped right in front of our cruise ship. Highly recommend the tour option that takes you above the city for an incredible view of Dubrovnik and the surrounding islands. Overall great experience and I would higjhly recommend!
Excellent. I would highly recommend. We loved it. The guides showed us everything there is to know of Games of Thrones. She had even worked on the movie.
