Itinerary
Meet your walking tour guide and other “Game of Thrones” fans at the Large Onofrio Fountain near the western entrance to Dubrovnik’s Old Town. You won’t even have to look far for your first ‘Game of Thrones’ filming location; the nearby Pile Gate is your first stop.
Follow your guide outside the City Walls to the twin locations of the Kolorina beach and Dubrovnik West Harbour, where they’ll explain the many scenes that were filmed here. Climb up to Fort Lovrijenac, the mighty fortification used to represent the Red Keep, to learn how it was used for different scenes, including the infamous Purple Wedding.
Finish with a photo opportunity on the famous staircase outside the Church of St. Ignatius of Loyola where Cersei did her “Walk of Shame”.

Josip was a super guide. He showed us the places where shooting of Game of Thrones took place. He shared a lot of details and showed us a lot of pictures while talking about small funny stories that happened. The tour also provided details about the history of Dubrovnik, which was nice. The visit to Lokrum Island was also really nice. It would have been nice to have more details on Lokrum, having known in advance, we would have brought our swimsuit to spend the afternoon there. But, besides that, we really appreciated the tour and would recommend to any Game of Thrones fan.

Our beautiful guide Andrea was so so good. She was detailed in explaining every site. She took us into shades while giving us the explanation during the tour. We learned a lot and remembered portions of GOT episodes. Great way to explore this ancient marvel. Good job Andrea. Love the smile!! Lokrum island is even better. The private secluded beaches and the restaurant was a great add on to our day. We loved the island and its peacocks.

If you're a GoT fan, this is a must. Our guide, Luka, clearly a GoT super fan, (watched the series 5x!) and this was helpful as a storyteller. Makes me want to rewatch the series now.

We booked this on our own after doing the City Walls in the morning. Such an enjoyable tour & seeing the Fort with the Stairs. We didn’t know what to expect from Croatia, but we wished we had more time by the end of it. Highly recommend for any GOT fan to check it out!

Super tour for GoT fans and Dubrovnik views. Be prepared to climb stairs. We really enjoyed our guide Ajla. She was personable and lots of fun! A visit to Lokrum Island is a must do. Spend time there walking around and exploring. Wear comfortable shoes! We highly recommend this tour.

Explained the info clearly and liked the personal experience he had with being an extra. Recommendation: when showing the pictures of the scenes, he just kind of whipped the picture around, kept moving it fast so it was hard to see.

Mara was an exceptional guide for our Game of Thrones walking tour. She was pleasant and knowledgeable and was so accommodating to the needs of our group throughout the tour. While many of us were fans of the show many of the group were not familiar with the show as much and enjoyed the tour as well learning many facts about Dubrovnik as well. I am a GOT fan but my wife has never seen an episode. Our guide Jenela established this during introductions and tailored the tour to incorpirate historical facts and context. Her experience as part of tgebproduction team, shone through and added to the experience. Brilliant qay to spend a few hours in the Old Town, and travel to Lokrum Island where after a brief tour you are left to explore at your own pace. Brilliant.

Great first day in the Old Town of Dubrovnik exploring the walled city and surrounding areas, learning both the history and sites of Game of Thrones. Eddie was very passionate about the city, history and the series which made the tour more enjoyable. The visit to Lokrum Island and sitting in the Iron throne was a great way to conclude the tour.

A great way to see the city and learn about where GoT was shot. It’s a little rushed, but if you only have a day in the city, it’s a good way to get an overview and still have time to climb the city walls and do whatever else you’d like. Our tour guide Edi was funny and knowledgeable- we enjoyed him a lot.
